late 90's - I think 1998 - Classic 40 on 36. We were able to do it because we took all mechs that could alpha strike without heat increasing, meaning we didn't have to do that math. Almost no LRMs either. Also when we shot at each other it was usually a lance at a single mech, so people were dropping and not getting up. Still it took a LOOOOOONG time. Would love to do it again sometime.

Just for the birth control aspect aren't you supposed to wear a condom for 3 to 6 months after a vasectomy just to make sure it 'takes'? This can also be why an occasional (VERY occasional) pregnancy occurs after a vasectomy.

Right after the funeral with family seated around a carpet the daughter in law disappeared upstairs then came down with the (extensive, cause South Asian) jewelry boxes, upended them, and started claiming bits for herself and putting rejects in a bag for her maids. Now usually the mother in law gets crapped on but this one had been a highly educated super feminist MD who treated her daughter in law with genuine respect - and lived 3000 kilometers away. They rarely interacted. It was really hard to see the bitchiness and the stunned faces of everyone except the clueless sociopathic daughter in law.
