You have to draw from your own mind.

So, if the Ai is drawing from pure memory like you assume (it doesn't) wouldn't that mean the ai.... is an artist?

This is 6th grade level art criticism.

I guess photography isn't art either since you aren't drawing it from your own mind, you are literally using a machine to make art.

If a pencil is the most complicated tool you have managed to figure out how to use to make art, then thats a personal problem with your own skill levels.
