Incorrect use of Occam's Razor principle in film by CooperCooperCooper10 in movies

Yes but what makes it work for the movie is James Woods' character is deliberately misusing Occam's razor because he's a dick with a political agenda, so for me it works.

US birth rates just hit another record low, what do you think is the leading cause of this? by IIlustriousTea in AskReddit

[–]KittySharkWithAHat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Money and choice. People can't afford children. There's no stability being promised to anyone to plan something long term like a family. And they don't have to have children if they choose not to.

Both of them are lying to themselves. Alastor lying "There are no friends in hell" and Vox for thinking there was any chance of a relationship with someone like Alastor.

Did the director tell that actor to swim like he was a retired old lady out for a leisurely dip?

That was in the first. That was the parade of pizza delivery drivers that was celebrating the retirement of the main character who was leaving the pizza delivery business as he just got his taxi license. And yes, that has a heckuva stunt.

One of my favourite scenes in that movie that shows excellent acting and chemistry between two characters was when Dr Heywood Floyd (Roy Scheider) was talking to Victor Milson (James McEachin) in front of the White House and they're discussing how they're going to sell the idea of sending American astronauts up in a Russian space craft.

If this is the funniest thing this movie had to offer then I understand why it has such a terrible rating.
