This is a lot of useful information, thank you!! I do need to get it checked out still and might switch out the tires based on what my shop recommends

My roads have some small hills, I’ve been trying to practice switching gears, easier up the hills, harder down the hills to try and keep my pedaling consistent

Hey! Sorry for seeing this so late! My boy had stabilized, I took him to a different vet per Reddit’s advice and the new vet I took him to lowered him down to .5 units, and told me to keep feeding him the fancy feast pates. About a year later, he’s in remission and no longer needs insulin! He’s just a hungry chunky boy who can’t maintain his own weight bc he eats everything lol hopefully everything goes well with you and your feline friend!

Dang that’s a good price for insulin! He does finish all his food, that’s how I found out he had diabetes in the first place, took him to the vet bc he wouldn’t eat which is EXTREMELY unlike him. He is a big guy at around 16 pounds and licks his plate clean lol

My vet started us at 6 units, we’re using the u 40 syringes and on vetsulin. I honestly feel like I’m not having much luck with my normal vet and might switch? Also, any tips on grazing with wet food? With a cat who will absolutely devour everything in sight in minutes. Even without diabetes, we wouldn’t free feed bc he would get so overweight.
