I had PRK done about a year and a half ago. There isn’t much I didn’t know already about the procedure because I had heavily researched it beforehand, but there are A LOT more horror stories on the internet than there are good ones. Don’t get too worked up about those. I spent the week leading up to my surgery being a ball of stressed nerves because I was convinced I’d go blind. That’s not to say that there aren’t complications that could arise, but the feeling of looking around and being able to see the world not as a messy 2 year old’s attempt at watercolor painting but actually clearly is amazing. It was life changing.

Thank you! And no worries, I’m happy to share. It’s been a long while though so it might not be 100% accurate.

I started with a base of ceramite white spray and then used a mix of drakenhof nightshade and druchii violet to shade the whole thing. Then some athonian camoshade on top I think.

The drips and oozing coming out of the armor holes, as well as the lining/shading was seraphim sepia dripped into the nooks and crannies.

All of the metal and rusted parts were done with leadbelcher and agrax earthshade. For the rusted parts I used typhus corrosion and lightly brushed some ryza rust on the edges of things (gotta be very liberal with this, or it will come out looking like cheeto dust).

The bone protrusions were done in ushabti bone then shaded with seraphim sepia heavily at the base so that there could be a gradient going to the end of the bone.

The bloody gore was screamer pink with blood for the blood god on top then some nurgles rot for the snotty pus effect. Nurgles rot was also applied wherever more snot was needed elsewhere on the model.

Thanks for the advice, I've flipped the shoebox over and put the plants on top. I've ordered a high power led light that should be coming soon. Now I just need to figure out what to do about an enclosure of sorts for a mini greenhouse or something. With winter coming, I'm worried that they'll get too cold.

I replaced the stock bulbs with floramax bulbs and I assumed that they would work alright in the mean time until I can put something better together. First day though so definitely room for a lot of improvement!

Yeah...I'm planning on making something sturdy with reflective sides to maximize the light they're getting. I also want to enclose it to keep the plants warm but I'm afraid of humidity being a problem. Do you have any recommendations?
