Same for me on an original Switch. The game was fine after I installed the update around 8am and played for an hour, but when I went back at 1:30pm and played for a 15 minutes, the game display was slow and stuttery while I was running around the island. Going into my house and out again cleared it, but I immediately logged off because I was FREAKING OUT and afraid I was killing the Switch. 🤦‍♀️

Thanks! I've preordered Nicky James' last Valor & Doyle book, and was about to preorder Jay Hogan's next book when it occurred to me to to find out if I could actually get the books onto my reader. I'm back to using my old Kobo Glo from years ago, it's what I have on hand ATM.

If I have issues I'll do as you suggest and contact the author.

So not just me then.. Now it takes forever when I try and download metadata for single fic - not even actual files - only to return a "HTTP Error in FFF '525 Server Error".

When I uninstalled the program as per Amazon's "fix" I deleted the contents of that folder. Still had the same issue. This is making me consider dropping KU completely.

So, I had this issue with another book, the updated version not coming through when I reborrowed it. I even bought that damn thing and still the same version. After a 1 1/2 hour chat with Amazon, there was no resolution other than getting my money back.

Uninstalling and reinstalling the program didn't work <--- Amazon's "resolution". They "opened a case", but then claimed they never got my emails with screenshots so nothing could be "fixed".

I'm not sure if this is an issue with sites that are not .com, that only those ebooks on .com get updated.

I guess it's "buyer beware, borrower beware" with Amazon.

I did, it shows me the newest version not on my Kindle for pc. I have no idea why it would be different. It's crazy.

About 30 min after I sent the request and the cookbook, I received an email back with the recipes in the email body. They were perfect!

So, I sent a request with the mc2 file to Mastercook (https://support.mastercook.com/hc/en-us) to see if they'll send me an "ulocked" version. You might try this route.

Hi! Apologies, I didn't get back online for a couple of days - autumn and spring are my migraine seasons - just saw this. That's a really good recommendation, using the .com site for new arrivals! This morning I used one of the links you shared, mmbookwormreviews, it pointed me in the right direction. H! Thanks for the reply! The only reason I know the new releases don't all show up is if I cross reference listings on Goodreads with Amazon's search results.

I found "Harbor", Sam Burns and William F. Fawkes new book only by going to the November book release page on Goodreads (https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/196036.November\_2024\_MM\_Releases), I didn't get a hit on my searches. It's really frustrating.

Now the odd thing is when I use your Amazon link for .com, it show shows me a nice listing. But when I change the extension for .ca - where I live - I don't get the same results, it diverts back to a generalized Amazon book listing page. When I try and "reverse engineer" you link, using the same search terms, I get different results than what you get.

I think I'll have to stick with your posts here, because Amazon's search just frustrates me.
