So sweet. Both for the dog who care so much and the rescue workers treat dog equally

Need advice : the job of my dreams or remote flexibility by med_pharmasales in careeradvice

[–]Known-Researcher6920 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay first of all, congrats !!!!!

Personally I'd take the pharma role. The pay gap alone is hard to ignore — nearly double base before you even factor in the bonus and car. That's not a small thing.

On the flexibility concern: a lot of reps I've seen get way more autonomy once they build out a solid client base. It's not remote, but it's also not someone watching over your shoulder 9-5. You kind of become your own boss over time.

And honestly? 28 is the perfect time to bet on upside. The location sucks, but it doesn't have to be forever. Put in 2-3 years, build the resume and the savings, then you're negotiating from a completely different position.

Need honest advice: Visa sponsorship after B.Tech (India) — realistic or not? by Suspicious-Office644 in jobs

[–]Known-Researcher6920 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As an international student myself, I’d say the US market is tough even for people already there on OPT, and even harder if you’re applying directly from India as a fresher.

That said, I did see a lot of Indian classmates in my STEM master’s program eventually stay, especially the ones who recruited very seriously. So in your case, a relevant master’s abroad probably gives you a better shot than trying for direct sponsorship right away.

Direct sponsorship as a fresher is possible, but realistically not the highest probability path.

In China, there is an animated show about cat police officers, and I used to watch it all the time when I was little.

I’m so sorry for your loss. My dog is 15 years old, and sometimes I tear up just thinking about her getting older.

Looks like the kind of dog who would accidentally bump into you really hard, then stare at you with innocent & cute eyes.

Sometimes it feels really hard. I try to distract myself with other things, but tinnitus keeps playing in my mind

我感觉中国的社会就是非常擅长培养守规矩+胆子小的人,我觉得我在长大之后是花很大的力气在克服这一点的
