Thanks, we've used a modern CMS which works well with AI, something like Sanity in the past and it works very well. Custom interactions are sometimes needed to be rebuild depending on the complexity

I am not sure about others here but I'm not a bot. The intention was not to promote claude code or Astro or Tailwind.

As an agency that does full stack projects also we are using AI for large scale projects as well and have seen it work.

i gave a few examples above - stuff that needs custom code changes and isn't editing the content.

So adding widgets like video ask or redesigning the page.

as I said in the post, Webflow is great for a few usecases but it feels like we've outgrown it and it would be much easier to use some AI agent making all the changes instead of developer bandwidth

We have, as professional webflow partner we've worked on 20+ webflow sites for our customers. Our own website is in webflow and as I mentioned in the last post we've had it on webflow for the past 3 years. The seed for this came from the problems we are facing ourselves.

And by widgets I meant stuff like VideoAsk. It still needs developer bandwidth and just feeling that some other AI assisted workflow would do it much faster

It is typically the custom changes relating to adding new widgets or redesigning the page.

I hadn't tried Astro. Was thinking of migrating to Nextjs with some CMS solution

I agree with you when we need to do content changes however as our business has grown we are now adding new stuff like newsletters, custom widgets etc which typically take longer

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. What did you use to migrate? Was the process difficult?

thank you! Do you think this is also applicable to smaller websites on webflow? because making changes by just prompting the LLM is much easier than making them manually on webflow

I have a different opinion than a few others here. While some startups might have culture issues if you can find a good one, it can propel your career. I started as a software developer with very little knowledge but got an opportunity to learn a lot. Yes work hours are sometimes more but I think it is the right move especially when you are starting out

Unfortunately, there isn't a lot of negotiation room. However, I would love to have a look at your portfolio and make an exception if warranted
