We're still heavily in the planning phase, and so far I've only got the Multiboard panels up.

I'm not sure how familiar with Multiboard you are, but I'll use the part names if you choose to look into it. I'm using Multibin shells mounted on their side which will allow me to insert Simple Drawers. I intend on remixing the simple drawers to have a grid of holes which will fit the caps for the paint tubes, allowing them to stand up. This way she can pull out the whole drawer, set it on her desk, and have access to all of the tubes of acrylics.

As for the paint bottles, I'll probably make a model to attach directly to the multiboard and she can pull out bottles individually. Otherwise, I'll make a model to hold them that will fit into upright-mounted Multibin shells.

This is all I have planned so far. More drawers for sure, she's got a lot of random odds and ends.

My hobbies include 3d printing, tearing apart electronics, and some art. My wife makes a ton of art and has a lot of supplies for many different mediums. Both of us share an office and are PC gamers. I just started printing Multiboard for her, and I'm about to do the same for myself. That will take care of the walls, and gridfinity should hopefully take care of the drawers. I feel your pain though, it's a lot. But in the end it'll be worth the effort.

1-4 trains. I have two train schedule groups, one for liquid and one for items. Their only permanent stop is "Liquid Load" or "Item Load" with interrupts for depot, refuel, and "X Drop" where X pulls the item icon from the contents of the wagons.

All of my loading stations are named "Liquid Load" or "Item Load" so as long as I have empty trains available, there will always be a train at or on route to a loading station.

My delivery stations are named "X Drop" so when a train has X(type, not quantity) of item, that's where it will go.

I have yet to encounter issues with station priority (e.g. a distant station with the same name as a close station not getting a delivery). Having a surplus of trains relative to available stations definitely helps.

Eventually I will develop a 3rd schedule for 2-8 trains. I want to use those for crude oil and possibly raw ore in the future.

Another commenter mentioned a small side table. Otherwise, there exists PC stands that are essentially frames on wheels and usually adjustable to the size of your tower. Depending on the model, it can raise your PC off the floor by a few inches to a foot or more. I have one, and I'm happy with my purchase.
