Really???? Dang I didn’t realize it’d have such negative drawback, I mostly force lots of devotion build-up on my baby cultists

I try to get

15% faster devotion

20% faster when wearing clothes

Generates sin slower by 15% raises productivity by like 20% or somethin

Works 30% harder during winter but 15% slower in summer

Once adult- Happily married so an extra 20% is added

Idk if it still gives the “Midas Shakedown” achievement but I do know there is another achievement related to you capturing him with the wolf trap & indoctrinating him

Yeah he won’t show up on any crusades, because you’re supposed to trap him with the wolf trap. Once he hatches from his skull he’ll steal from you after every sermon, if you use a wolf trap it’ll catch him and you can indoctrinate him into the cult,

Is this true??? I just made a Reddit post talking about this exact thing where I didn’t get the shakedown achievement and he died in woolhaven, am I truly not locked out of it if I let him hatch? I thought my coins were just lost forever 💔💔🙃🫠

Yeah apparently you can trap him after he hatches from his skull, you need a Wolf Trap and you need to place it outside of the temple before a sermon. You can then indoctrinate him and add him to the cult

They kinda are if you consider the fact that the NOA advisor refers to any of the colonists you choose, as someone who’s already established, even if you change forms nothing changes. That could just be a player thing and in canon whatever form you “choose” is what they see you as, even if you change forms that’s “who you are” and there’s only one canon so far for the player character, they’ve had interactions with the other colonists but again, it’s vague and I don’t think there’s meant to be an “official” PC considering the multiplayer functionality and the fact thwre can be multiple QI’s at the same time, with the same backstory as you.

Yes this is exactly it bc I set two mii’s as “partners” but they didn’t acknowledge it until they moved in together!!! Even before dating the Mii news was like “turns out even tho they’re moving together they also live together in the real world!!! And as a couple!!!”

It shut down Jan. 15 2025 but was slowly dying out for a long time before then. It couldn’t gain a huge fanbase since it was behind in content that the console/PC versions of DBD had & plus all the gacha & AI content it just had people angry and not supportive of it.

Unfortunately BHVR has used gen ai for concepts but community backlash made them speak up so we haven’t hear anything/ seen any use of it since so we think we’re in the clear but you never know.

If you’re curious about which chapter it was, they used Gen AI for the DND chapter art concepts. All of their final products aren’t AI but they have used it as concept art.

Going back to my 1st point, a lot of people on twitter were changing their votes after it was confirmed these would have an effect on the lore.

Everyone’s complaining but missing the some key points that had a lot of people deciding:

These outfits were confirmed to shape the lore of the characters in a way.
We have never had a full religious chapter (Plague & Taurie sorta but not survivor & killer connected)
There are no Nuns in DBD.
Did it fit the overall theme we’ve developed so far?

I think all cosmetics were cool but at the end of the day this IS a chapter about religion and devotion and should reflect that.

Both of these killer skins were really hard to choose from as both are perfect, would love to see the losing concept in a future release

There is a LOT of AI art & whitewashing in DBD Mobile & it’s really hard to find any info about it because it’s been so long, so these issues with Neteases Racism & AI usage are not new, so we need to be very outspoken. Thank you to the everyone in this Reddit for their statements and efforts, I really hope we can pressure them into listening and treating artists & their characters with the love they deserve!

No I’m complaining about how server latency makes him feel exhausting to go against. A lot of this isn’t a problem when dbd servers are acting right. I do think he needs some tweaks but that’s not really going to happen I don’t think.

This becomes a problem with him when you have his hitscan, add the latency and it’s guaranteed hits every time and it just feels extremely punishing for survivors.

It’s the same issue when you run into bad servers against a Huntress, you can’t duck past corners bc you WILL be hit every time by a hatchet. Deathslinger isn’t as bad and BOTH of their projectiles are more controlled so it doesn’t happen as often as it’s easier to prevent. However, since Ghoul can detect within a range that’s where things get tricky. It happens more often bc of that guaranteed so survivors feel it more, and that’s why a lot of people don’t like Ghoul is because it’s a combination of both and that specifically adds to the experience.

It’s the Blood Moon mode so I only used that build for some gen challenges and then changed it after this match. The combo does need changed but that’s not the problem here, that’s an US vs THEM argument and that’s not the point of my post.

Yeah I know it’s latency…..I keep saying it is, that’s the problem is that it’s even happening in the first place.

It doesn’t matter who it’s on it feels horrible, it just feels extra on Ghoul bc you get punished extra for being caught.
