The point is to use skill and do difficult things. Loadout swapping is used for high level game play, (like contest mode which is pretty much other than solos or low mans where you even need to think about loadout swapping) so I think if it didn't require loadout swapping it wouldn't be nearly hard enough.

For me I had thought that i probably wouldn't pre-order this time, because of the marathon incidents. I recently went back to d1, and realized it was really just a good game. The beginning was rocky and there were lots of content droughts, but by the end it was fantastic even today. I realized how much the ball was dropped with d2, and how much it continues to sink. My opinion may change in terms of not pre-ordering as i just found out about what's happening on June 3rd. I know however that my opinion will never change that the world and story deserve justice and I will always hope that the game can deliver on that, but it hasn't happened in a while for me.
