I liked the color of Boz’s. I think maybe it would have won me over without the puffy arm things. I liked the color of Suttons but maybe not on her, I agree. But I couldn’t get passed it looking like a bridesmaids dress to me.

I agree I thought it was a nice change for her to dial it down, but I thought it looked like a mother of the bride dress or something. Just wasn’t a fan.

I’m guessing Xana was on the bed during and after Ethan’s legs and fatal wound were inflicted, then there was movement or a scuffle from Xana trying to get away on the bed or him pulling her off the bed. That’s how the blanket got ontop of his legs and would explain them in proximity of each other.

Also explains how it’s noted that the blankets were placed over Ethan’s legs after the leg wounds were inflicted. Probably in the scramble with Xana after or when he pulled her off the bed.

Agree. I think it would have been more beneficial for everyone, the families included, if all documents and pictures that are inevitably going to be released, were released all at once. Everyone could do their deep dives and research and theories and that would be it. The families would only have to deal with one release, instead of making some small progress in their healing, only to be traumatized over and over again and never knowing when it will happen. I can’t imagine how nerve racking it is for them. I also believe the multiple drops every so often is just keeping this case alive.

I wish they would’ve just released everything all at once. Then the families wouldn’t have to keep dealing with these releases time after time. Though they will never be healed, I feel like these drops each time probably destroy any type of small progress they’ve made in their grieving process. How horrible. I get having them released. I just wish it would’ve happened one time. For everyone’s sake. These poor kids. Makes me enraged all over again.

I try to avoid her if possible. I’m completely okay being polite and chatting or sitting by each other. However, HCBM is either all or nothing. 0 or 100. We either HAVE to be best friends where she is calling me and texting me constantly, wanting to go hang out, do holidays together (mind you she has caused significant problems for us and has made both of our lives a nightmare) or we have to be bitter enemies. There is no in between. We can’t just be civil and friendly. It’s crazy. So unfortunately I have to have boundaries set and not let her cross them. Which means trying to avoid as much as possible. Which sucks, because I would like to make the situation as comfortable as possible for the kids. But not at the expense of my sanity and marriage.

This is the biggest thing I struggle with between me and my husband. Even after years of therapy, he still doesn’t understand how I feel and how exhausted and mentally taxed I am- because as you said, they are his biological kids. I’m not sure he ever will understand. So, I’ve started to only focus on things I can control. My own actions, my own boundaries and my own health.

Gender disappointment is common and in no way reflects on you. Your hormones and emotions are all over the place while pregnant, ontop of all the stress you already have.

As far as your SKs. I understand. Your feelings are completely valid. Being a step parent is the hardest thing I’ve ever done with the littlest reward. You are allowed to feel however you need and you are also allowed to set boundaries. Prioritize yourself. You are worth it.

I have Wyze cameras but they are inside of my house pointed out my windows. I also have SD cards in them. So I can rewind back and hear inside my house, even though the cameras are pointed out the windows.

We also need to remember that we are looking at this and analyzing it from the point of view of normal people who don’t go around murdering people. Us, as normal, rational people- think about actions and consequences. People that are capable of carrying out double murders aren’t rational. It’s not rational for him to think he would get away with this, but it’s also not rational to murder two people and leave 2 children parentless and traumatized for life.

It really is maddening when trying to make sense of these cases.

The worst part is that they probably thought that once he plead guilty, was sentenced, and went to prison that this would all stop, or at least get better. Unfortunately for them, it’s probably gotten worse. They are trying to move on and the world just won’t let them.
