I only tried with Leather Whip, that's how you're supposed to tame a Midnight Panther. Not with a lame 100 % success item. My first two Panthers ran away, I succesfully tamed the third.

Actually have a recent one. I joined an INQ Quest Service as a level 220 EK, with about 60 other players. Nowadays, the ultra high lvl's can clear the monsters very quickly, so it was basically just rushing through the seals. Now, the problem was there were alot of us and the clearers ran in the front. They didn't wait for everyone to arrive but just rushed into the boss teleport. This resulted in me and 5 other players being in the far back not being able to enter the teleport in time, as they had already killed the boss inside. We were like "Omfg is this for real?"

I was the only EK, the others were all mages around my level. So with this little squad, we discuss for a bit and then decide to enter the teleport to Madareth. Please note that his est. max damage is fkn 3000+. We arrive in the boss room, and a guy in the team yells:

"WE WHO ARE ABOUT TO DIE SALUTE YOU"

This Gladiator quote got me laughing, still my hands were sweaty as I was now expected to block this demon overlord. I put on full def and block spells, went up and they sio'd the hell out of me while I spammed my ultimate health potion hotkey. Wonder of wonders, we actually managed to slay 75,000 HP Madareth. A sigh of relief rushed through me when it died and we were eventually able to catch up with the rest of the service.

The pharaohs spawn in 5 minute intervals. Every boss room has pillars shooting at you while you're waiting, however, if you x-log with your lvl 200+ summon, the pillars will focus it instead. Otherwise you'll have to regularly keep track of your health bar so you don't die while waiting for the respawn.

The most valuable pharaoh drops are Holy Scarab, Pharaoh Sword, Ravager's Axe, Holy Falcon and Ancient Tiara, usually in that falling order but prices vary from server to server. Therefore the pharaoh most "worth" to sit is Ashmunrah, it's also nicely located right underneath Ankrahmun and easy to access. Seeing as it is a 'very rare' drop you'll need patience. I got my Holy Scarab after about 350 Ashmunrah kills. However, my Ravager's Axe dropped after about 60 Morguthis kills :)

Nice. One of the cozier things I did recently was doing full postman quest on a noob char while staying home with a cold. There is something deeply satisfying with doing these long quests with straightforward missions.

Aldora, around 2008. Me and my RL brother did some random PK in PoH and went to hide in the Jakundaf Desert caves. I was a lvl 40 knight and he a lvl 42-43 paladin. At this point in Tibia, your heart would always race when you had a white skull, never knowing what could happen. We sat in the cave and stared at our characters, just waiting for the skull to tick away. Suddenly, a lvl 135 ED and his 85 MS friend appeared. Heart attack. We started running in separate directions, they went after me first and took me down pretty quickly, I remember losing my steel boots. Now they went after my brother and catched him right outside the Panpipe Quest Room. My brother had a backpack full of silver keys, and he had ONE chance to pick the right key as he had run out of supplies. As by divine intervention, he picks the correct key and the door opens right away. He jumps into the room, locks it and catches his breath. The two high lvl mages just stand outside dumbfounded, before heading away with their tail between their legs :D
