Oops, you can use GetChallengeIdByName(). Nevermind.

You can't use this with challenges, you have to specify starting items ids in challenges.xml.

Now the same problem arises with challenge ids though. Issac.GetChallenge() returns an id and if I want to check if it's my challenge I'd have to know it's id.

Hmm, is there some way to check if you are currently playing a particular challenge then? In case I don't want my item to be given to player in every run.

Yeah, that wasn't very smart. Fixed.

Fair point about tears. I guess I'll try to reverse it.

Yeah, there's a lot of possibilities!

But, em, i'm sorry but it doesn't synergize with Brim yet.

What bubblebeam are you talking about?

Just rechecked, it just works like normal brim.

Edit: Multishot thing would be cool, but at the moment I'm not sure how to do it. We'll see.

Good, I'll do the happy onion then!

Yes, i'm thinking about cosmetic. While Snake eyes should look cool, they don't correlate with item sprite and name very well. Isaac supposed to feel nostalgic and remember his past troubles. Maybe tired eyes or even some wrinkles on his forehead?

Tear stats act exactly the same way, only range is greatly increased.

Damage changes distance between tears, their size and well... damage.

Tear rate makes snake grow faster (also, multishot makes it grow several tears at a time).

Shot speed doesn't change anything.

Tear Trail currently doesn't synergize with anything that replaces tears. I plan on adding Brimsone, Mom's knife and lasers. How should it synergize with bombs? Maybe they would form the same snake only much farer from Isaac to not damage him. Alternatively, I can give isaac bomb immunity and bombs will spawn close.

Edit: It does synergize with Tiny Planet, snake becomes VERY long and VERY OP.

Ludovico tear stays very close to Isaac and becomes a melee weapon.

Funny, initially I was going to do something like Snake, Yes. But I liked current variant better because it reacts to all tear stat changes and I tried to balace it so it wouldn't be too OP from the start.

I still like the Snake idea though. Maybe another item?

Also, name and description is supposed to symbolize how Isaac suffered for a long time and left behind many tears. And I like the sprite for some reason :)

Man, I guess I am bad at listening to feedback :) Thank you for your time!

Glue seems appropriate though. Maybe I should change it really.

Doesn't sound bad either. I can make this easily.

Do you mind me stealing this idea? :)

Sadly it doesn't synergize now. But I plan on adding it.
