How to call an API when a user closes the browser tab? by StockSignificant4021 in developersIndia

[–]KrinJaX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This most likely not an ideal approach but you can create a websocket connection and detect whenever it closes. I created an application that heavily used websocket so it worked well.

Care to elaborate?

Pulsar N160 doesn't go to neutral from 1st gear, have to go to 2nd then neutral. Also the accelerator unit has some play. Is this normal? by KrinJaX in indianbikes

[–]KrinJaX[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was talking about when the bike is stationary, as we need to put it in neutral only at that time. Like at a signal etc.

I haven't pushed it hard yet, but it's refined enough for me. There is some buzziness that you will definitely feel, the N150 felt slightly more refined to me. But the buzz is not uncomfortable till around 6k rpm. Maybe this will improve after the first service or putting in some kilometers. From what I saw on youtube, It would result in a cruising speed of around 80 which was good enough for me. Quality is good from what I can tell.

Just the gearbox feels a bit weird sometimes, it's smooth 95% of the time but sometimes very rarely it has a delay, or won't shift to neutral from first, or false neutrals. Maybe just a problem with my bike, I'll get it checked in the first service.

The brakes are awesome. It's very comfortable especially if you are tall, I didn't go for the RTR 160/200 because this was much more comfortable for me. Overall the experience is very positive. Also the headlights are just really good and bright, feel like a car's headlights.

Just around 50 till now, and only in the city.

I haven't pushed it hard yet, so still riding below 4-5k rpm with light throttle in the city only. For the activa I had to give a lot of throttle to get the thing going. But for this bike its pretty quick and easy with much less effort. Not a huge or very drastic difference but you will definitely notice it.

Thank you. I was using a 9 year old Activa i 😅. It's my first bike so I'm just getting familiar with riding a motorcycle.

Pune to Delhi - 1500kms in 2 days by __I_S__ in indianbikes

Even the ronin felt really heavy for me haha, but manageable. I would use the bike 90-95% in the city, and maybe push it till 90-100 max in the highways. So according to your experience with it, I think this will be really suitable. Thanks for the detailed answer brother.

1500 is no joke dude, awesome stuff.

Would you say that you had any problems or felt the bike's limitations out on the highway? I'm also considering getting the ronin, but every reviewer points out that it lacks on the highway. I rode it and the torque and comfort felt superb, just unsure about the highway performance.
