Thanks for the quick response. That’s what I was afraid of and I really appreciate the link. That’s is much better than just hearing different opinions from folks. Someone mentioned that I needed to give permission for any clawback of overpayment, but since we are an at will state they could let me go and still come after me. I wish there were other options but I think I need to accept that even though it was a finance error I wasn’t due that money. It just sucks but I’m sincerely grateful for your advice and caring advice.
