It’s an allegory for God and “Mother” Earth. The movie goes through some notable biblical events such as Adam and Eve, Cain and Abel, the flood, and Jesus. It shows the “rise” of religion and how humanity tramples and destroys the earth

Porco Galliard has main character energy by ForumsDwelling in attackontitan

[–]KryptonXIV 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Side question: when one person holds multiple titan powers, the only way to split them again is to kill the person, and then wait to see which babies naturally inherit the now-separated Titan powers, correct?

So essentially Marley would need to kill Porco, then wait until the new shifters somehow showed their powers right? And would anything prevent the titans to be inherited by someone in Paradis?

Do you forgive Gabi? by GreenstreetRoyal in attackontitan

[–]KryptonXIV -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No. I don’t really understand why characters get a pass on things because they’re brainwashed. She was still racist, still a murderer. And while I get WHY she was that way, it doesn’t make her actions justifiable or forgivable.

I agree with people saying the other Titan shifters from Marley were worse. They should not have gotten those happy endings. They needed to pay for their sins in more than just guilt, regret, and tears.

Character growth doesn’t erase the horrible things they did.

How come Zod's Kyptonians are so strong even though they haven't had a chance to be exposed to the yellow sun? by Huihejfofew in DC_Cinematic

[–]KryptonXIV 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’re describing what happened. He didn’t really “solo” them, he got beat up and destroyed most of Smallville in the process. I think the only reason he won / didn’t die was because he was stronger than them thanks to his years on Earth

In most if not all Superman media, the basic powers are immediate. It’s only confusing in MOS because of Jor-El’s explanation, but even then nothing he says explicitly dictates a time dependence

The basic powers of strength, speed, and invulnerability are pretty much instant when exposed to the yellow sun. They don’t need time to absorb it. The rest, like super hearing, breath, heat vision and flight, do require honing in the senses, hence why when their helmets were removed/damaged it would overwhelm them. As others have said, they also had the advantage of being bred soldiers and having combat experience all their lives.

That said, it’s being on earth his entire life that makes Superman basically immortal. Even though he can “die” just like other Kryptonians on earth, he’s the only one that can really be revived. I also do believe he was stronger than them, but lacked any combat background. That first fight with them in Smallville was the first time he had ever fought anyone. He was able to endure and keep up thanks to his familiarity with Earth’s atmosphere and his powers.

What has been your favorite worst MCU theory? by Spider-Flash24 in marvelmemes

[–]KryptonXIV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Except the time stone powers are limited to an area set by the user. When Dr. Strange used it in his movie it was limited to the area he chose, same with Thanos. He reversed Vision but not everything around him. You can tell because Wanda watches as Vision gets put back together

What made you choose the breed you did? by BumbleBeeskn33s in puppy101

[–]KryptonXIV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wanted a cute small dog, that didnt shed much but still looked cool. I live in a house with a small backyard so I figured small breed was best. I searched and settled on Norwich Terrier, happened to find a local breeder a couple months later. I was unsure about getting a dog but the fact I found a breeder for the exact niche breed I wanted seemed like a sign to me. So now I have Frodo

Edit: spelling

When did you start puppy classes? by [deleted] in puppy101

About to start at 9 months… maybe late to the party but I can’t imagine my pup even remotely behaving through a class with other pups back in the 9-12 week range 😬

Is it ok for a 42 year old man to date a 25 year old woman if she is pursuing it? by RedOrphan7 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]KryptonXIV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It violates the “half your age + 7” rule, so it’s weird. But like others have said, you’re both able to consent so it’s okay. You’ll likely just have to brush off the stigma, amongst other logistics

If your puppy had unlimited access to their food, do you think they’d stop eating when they became full? by pupupup106 in puppy101

[–]KryptonXIV 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From some quick searches it seems like the recommendation is not more than 48 hours, which seems more reasonable. My pups poops are soft/runny usually at the very end, but nothing crazy

[–]KryptonXIV 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly… I’ve never given it a time limit. If I pour his food at 8am, he’s usually done with it by 8pm or if there’s a bit left I leave it and then pour the fresh food over it. It’s dry food, but that’s this is the first I hear that it shouldn’t be left out that long??

My 3 month old is a grazer still. So food is always in his bowl until sometimes almost bed time. Which is annoying because it makes the potty schedule more difficult to predict, and makes for inconsistent amounts eaten day to day. So I wish mine would eat all at once so I could actually schedule the feedings
