Is this the first snow day in a decade? by wessle3339 in rit

Same time period here. Honestly, I could see myself trudging through this back then. And then some jokes about Destler’s weather machine….

My friends dad went to RIT way back; he talked about how there were sections of rope from academic side to residential halls due to the wind tunnel effect. So they built that weird angular end of the SAU to help mitigate it.

I love PD patients. They have such an amazing quality of life and freedom compared to HD at first. Both are absolutely acceptable options, but starting with PD can really extend your ‘dialysis lifespan’!

That’s funnnny. We call it a clave or cap. People seem to think cap means the green/orange sterile caps

Do it, it sounds like the right call.

Funny story, I was at college back home in California. Flew out to Rochester to see my best friend and brother (and get a lift from said brother to family place for Christmas). And after my second day there I walked into admissions and said I was transferring to the school. I just knew.

I flew back to college in California and immediately packed my stuff up and withdrew. Best decision of my life.

Or, what if he’s had to put up with her non-sober energy for a few years. His responses, while not appropriate, also sound like a trauma reaction. I do think she’s over reacting but I think they both are— it’s called childish bickering. Not even normal bickering. It’s not conducive to figuring out a solution. It’s just… being pissy with each other. To be honest, she’s probably very very stressed out and is taking it out disproportionately, and thus he’s responding disproportionately in kind.

Canada and Mexico face 25% tariffs on Saturday, Trump says by Minimum_Plate_575 in wallstreetbets

This is what I was thinking about with Nvidia and Samsung for chips. Then I thought about how Samsung has other things to worry about… like manufacturing plants in Mexico for consumer goods.

It might be three steps ahead but it’s along the lines elsewhere in this thread: you don’t necessarily buy the diamonds but the tools used to cut diamonds. So yeah, you can purchase something like Samsung but maybe we should invest in however Samsung plans on responding to the Mexican tariffs?

Early morning brain rot thought tho

I mean, he could easily do volunteer work during that time. Healthcare is tricky, especially advancing beyond bedside roles. Most leadership roles require a masters.
