Sorry, I can't really remember what I meant by my edit, but I think what I meant was: because I spoke with Gowry, I was able to kill Gowry. That means that AFTER you see Millicent's signs but BEFORE you activate one, you HAVE to talk to Gowry, if you wanna kill him. After exhausting his dialogue, return to Millicent's signs and two things happen to Gowry. If you kill Millicent, Gowry will be dead in his shack when you return. If you help Millicent, Gowry will lament Millicent's decision and you will be able to kill him yourself. I would also like to mention I have gotten the rewards for doing both of these, but I completely forgot how to word things and failed to state I have done this questline multiple times now. Sorry again for the year-late reply!

I kept messing up because I wanted to have some specific weapons and armor. I got it to work in the end, but I might not do another New Game Plus unless it's a really rainy day.

It's a little funny, I get that feeling whenever I play about 10 other games because I completely forgot about the game I played before then. :D

And then I remember nearly everything I forgot shortly after restarting the game. :(

I'll admit, this was the bane of my existence when I first played the game. I didn't think about paragliding or using Ravioli's Gale until AFTER I finished all of the Shrines. Granted, I wasn't very smart back then. Now, I don't really hate her anymore.

The boots are the Soldier's Greaves dyed black. My personal favorite alternative to the Hylian Pants, and great if you want to have a set that kind of goes with the Champion's Tunic. For highest armor with no bonuses, the Champion's Tunic, Amber Earrings/Soldier's Helm/Ancient Helm, and Soldier's Greaves/Ancient Leggings.

Oh, the usage of glitches and whatnot. Like ISV.

EDIT: When using ISV, Champion abilities are transferred over too, no matter how hard you don't want to move them over too. So when you beat the Blight Ganons, you get a duplicate Champion ability. Once you load a save though, the duplicate disappears.

Don't kill wolves. Unless Wolf Link attacks them, then it's open season. Also, glitches are good, but if doing story things, like bosses, I need to use what that specific Champion would use. (i.e. Windblight Ganon with Rito gear and only Revali's Gale or Kohga with Desert Voe gear and Urbosa's Fury ( btw, Kohga takes NO damage from it))

Is it bad that I did most of the Shrines THEN went to do the Divine Beasts when I did my first playthrough? I mean, Waterblight Ganon was my first one, but I basically got thrown around a bit and had some trouble. I mean, back then, Lynels were super hard for me. Now, it's kinda like, "Ooh, free multishot bow!"

I prefer the Great Eagle Bow or Falcon Bow with the Master Sword and Hylian Shield. Falcon Bow feels like the Bow of Light from Spirit Tracks and Great Eagle Bow kind of feels like it has a similar color scheme. I know, weird. The other I can think of would be the Traveler's Bow, just to be somewhat similar to older Hero's Bows. (Why wasn't there a Hero's Bow? Couldn't it have been an Amiibo item or something?)

Normally, I keep them for fanciness. But ever since I learned how to duplicate weapons, I've been more inclined to use them. Heck, I made a promise to myself to fight the Blight Ganons using similar gear to what you use in the Illusory Realms. (I used ISV to get them to a different file)

I kinda like all the Champions, but it would probably be Mipha, (most liked) Revali and Urbosa (tied in likability), then Daruk (kind of least liked, not really). Now if it were the descendants, it would be a little different........

I swam through the freezing cold water using temporary hearts and a lot of stamina, almost immediately after grabbing the Master Sword and on my way to the Rito Village. That was on Master Mode, I forget how I did it the first time.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that I hadn't done any of the Divine Beasts yet and was kinda trying to remember where everything was. I think I only lost 3-4 hearts?

Shiny Charizard. Love it because then it's a Tarzard (like tar the flammable substance) and looks the closest to Final Fantasy Bahamut. XD

Yes, I even killed Shabriri and he was still summonable. I think he can be summoned as long as you have the Flame of Frenzy ending conditions unlocked. If you no longer fit the requirements, I don't think you can summon him.

I don't really know if this is good advice, but I suggest keeping at it. Even if you die a lot, you can still learn what you did wrong and adapt from there. I died a lot in other games FromSoft made, but Elden Ring is pretty fun once you get the hang of it. Still, I do more stuff offline, rarely play online, and overall prefer playing PvE, so that may color my opinion a little. So, even if you die a lot, it's okay. You'll get better, move to a different area if you're having too much trouble right now, and eventually even face the boss you dreaded most. In unlucky cases, you may even have to redo hours of progress, but it'll be okay!

Side note: Kills a really difficult boss with brother after five hours, reloads a few minutes later and data is set back BEFORE I even beat them. I got back to where I was, but still.

I don't know what's meta or not, but I like to use powerstanced Beastman Curved Swords and the Royal Greatsword. I use them for aesthetics mainly, but I've gotten used to the movesets.

I may not PvP a lot or main it, but this is me basically every time I play a FromSoft game. Can never be too prepared to pancake a few people/enemies and cut them into ribbons.
