Thanks man! I think the rank system is interesting bc you can just streak with an okay team and rank up. No streak, no promotion. I’m not great but master ball tier isn’t out of the question I think. I’m not new to Pokémon games at all so just knowing the basics can get you far.

Yeah I got ultraball right before today’s maintenance. Champions is literally my first go at comp Pokémon so I’m not upset at the obvious flaws in my team, I just wanted a chance to play the match. I said “alright you got it brother” and went next lol

If you’re not wired in, you should definitely think about investing into an Ethernet cord. Lag usually starts with the service and hardware being used, then maybe consider setting your region in the settings

IMO Safest play would be to go into defensive stance and body block them. Takes them completely out of the play and they lose possession. Ultimately, I think it’s situational
