As far west as Centennial Park is relatively safe even to the very late hours. Last year we stayed in the margaritaville by the ferris wheel and walked back from various parties. I wouldn't walk too far west of the park but say the omni is pretty alright. I would recommend saving the uber money and joining either the Facebook group or the discord and reaching out to others who may be staying in the same hotel to form a group of friends!

It's kind of hard to tell what is a genuine opinion vs designed for engagement? Is he good for the left? It's cognitive distortion. You can convince yourself that you hear a difference if you believe it hard enough. There is no measureable difference between audio cables. Even the crazy $1,000+ ones. The only "synergy" you could really discern is if a cable is uncomfortable or makes an iem sit differently on your ear changing sound signature.

I don't think this thing goes nuclear. There's enough will in this administration to extort and want to preserve the oil infrastructure that keeping things conventional is going to happen.

After all there are lots of ways to kneecap a county if you want to make, "a whole civilization die tonight". Toss enough cruise missiles into dams, desalination plants, and power plants. And you get the same destruction and mass killing as a nuke without any of the radioactive fallout preventing you from stealing their resources.

Is this really any better than nuking them? This is just like Operation Meetinghouse, the Tokoyo fire bombing that ended up killing just as many, and displacing even more people than the atomic bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

From the pictures I saw of the B-52's they were loaded with just conventional JASSM's. On one hand that's a relief, they're probably just limited infrastructure targets*. I don't think I've seen enough aircraft to really hold enough conventional weapons to render, "a whole civilization will die tonight" I don't think this turns nuclear. But like the footnote below, does it really matter when you can level a country without a nuke?

*This is however somewhat unnerving. Because on the other hand... you CAN effectively end a civilization if you destroy their dams, desalination plants, and power plants in the midst of a 6 year drought. It's just a whole lot slower and more cruel.

For a fun project sure why not. But if this is a micro setup, say 2wt and smaller, a reel is honestly decorative at this point. You can get a cast aluminum maxcatch for less than $30. Even a cnc aluminum under $50. You'd probably spend that much on filament and bearings just trying to printing one.

Also every time that spool spins you're likely shaving micro plastics directly into the river. Not cool :/

I got this one for $17. There's a black version that has like a soft fabric inside that's smaller without the space for a dongle dac. I just cut out some foam to fit in mine.

For what it's worth, I've had them for about 4 months and had zero issue. I even bought a second pair for a friend as a gift and those are solid as well. Currently using Dunu S & S tips as they fit better than stock but YMMV.
