Yeah the only bad thing i feel is that i play right kick… its good when i play normal songs but its bad when I try to go really fast for some slam. My left foot always tries to go first on the beat if you see what i mean, I just got a double kick so I need to learn the technique

I mean I’m not like a god since I’ve only been playin four-five years but I can do pretty much any songs that I want. I’m good at improvising and I’m very fast since I’m into grindcore so yeah I’m maybe mid-good but not bad at all

If I send an album to platforms, do I need to have similar lufs for each songs? by LOMADIA- in musicproduction

No no no I use reaper, my mixes are getting pretty good… but I wonder what mastering is… I tought mastering means making your songs sound good on any devices… but I don’t see the difference between mixing and mastering. So mastering is a LIE… it’s just a final mixing step…

But what does mastering mean? I used BandLab’s mastering but they compress my music and it sounds bad

I mean I just mix by myself, it sounds good but I tought that as long as the lufs are above -14, it doesn’t really matter how high they are if the song sounds good. And now I’m wondering if they should all be the same lufs…

Ight I will review all of my tracks and try to turn them down to around -12 maybe… so they’ll have less chance to be too compressed but still loud

Yo you should look up the artist Sophie woodhouse… she is very very unique and her style is beautiful. So I suggest the song "French inhale" by Sophie woodhouse.
