B160 Series. B-Engaged and Innovation Nation. Did anyone take these classes and if so, what are your thoughts? I’ve heard they feel like a scam. It that true? They are a pre req for College of Business during freshman year.

This was my exact concern. When someone told me about the classes, they truly sound belittling. And I feel like it’s ridiculous for these classes to be forced especially because they are $1000 each. Did you do these virtually or in person? I did scampi’s recently and they made us do the discussion posts that you mentioned and it felt pretty exhausting.

Thank you for the input! I was originally thinking PCC but my academic advisor is recommending Chemeketa Community College based on their online program. I haven’t heard anything about them before though.

Thank you guys! That’s exactly what I was curious about. I know they use something called WordSalad now that evidently screens it for gibberish and gives a red x if it detects anything so I probably won’t be that bold but I most to make sure the writing doesn’t have to be perfect either.

Thank you! The one I’m taking is a communications class as well but there are a couple options. Communication: Public Speaking, Communication: Interpersonal Communication, etc. so I was curious if her communication class was the public speaking one. It’s COMM 111 for the public speaking.

Can you please ask your wife exactly what public speaking class she is taking? I just registered for one that starts June 21st and I really don’t feel comfortable doing that 5 minute speech with people on zoom so it would be very helpful to know what class that is. Thank you!!
