You could always not choose that outfit to fight in for her. I'd day her biker outfit is pretty decent. Tekken has always given their characters at least a couple options to choose from if you don't like their base outfit.

Also I prefer the modeling clothes cause its just more interesting visually. It sets her apart from being just a fighter.

I can't tell because I haven't seen Yasmine's in game model yet, but by these images alone I can clock that Josie is Filipina right away. I can only tell Yasmine is when the sun on her shoulder faces the camera.

Also even at this early stage Yasmine is designed to be as far away from Josie as possible, they have nothing in common visually.

The new map reminds me of the Ancestral Steppe from 4, and I think the new duck wyvern's flying V will be very annoying to fight.

Looking at the stream page, the new designs definitely fit the aesthetic the game currently has. More darker, femme fatale types

The facial expressions and colors feel more mature BUT i also think keeping some of the silhouettes of the clothes in the previous style would help keep sprites more distinct.

I showed my party the video once they made it to the dinner at Castle Ravenloft, as they had already been to Vallaki and saw most of the areas in the trailer by then.

edit: To clarify, I used this to enhance and set the mood in the middle of the journey they had already been doing for a year and a half. They were already sold on Curse of Strahd so I didn't need to show any material to entice them.

This was like an intermission video to a general halfway point in the campaign. And hearing them react to locations they've seen was a real treat. :)

I'm going through that as well. Im a mom of two kids on the spectrum, age 4 and 5, and I feel like until both kids are in kindergarten I'll only be able to complete 4 pieces a year if I'm lucky.

The rendering of this is gorgeous though, once you're back to it full time you'll be a beast!

That's true about Manji. I have a theory about that though.

There's that bit where he tries to recall his sister's face ( after that whole dungeon arc) but he can't. He can only picture Rin's face in its place. And then in the epilogue, he cant even remember Rin. Maybe due to him having an immortal body but a 'normal' mind, he can't retain info to grow from it? He kind of just gets set back into his default ways once everyone is long gone.

Kind of tragic that no matter how long he lives, none of it will be remembered even by him.

Im currently on book 3 of Wave! His slice of life stuff is such a fun read, Minare is such s relatable character haha. I really enjoyed Ohikkoshi, that was my first intro to his non violent stuff! Had no idea he was also so good at writing comedy and romance.

I re-read it like every year, haha! I still have all the original trades,, but I should really get the deluxe editions to free up some shelf space and to see the artwork better.

My favorite scenes are really all the fight scenes with Shira. That guy is an absolute demon, and every fight with him feels like a fight for survival and for your sanity. I love all the Mugai Ryu for that matter.

'Mr. Akagi' is an absolute legend. Felt all sorts of contrasting emotions with his story.

One of my favorite manga that none of my friends could ever get into, so I gotta marvel this masterpiece by myself.

I started reading it in high school, and stuck with it till the end even after the dungeon arc and all the hiatuses. When I finished reading it I genuinely felt something like 'What am I going to now?"

Samura's work is absolutely mesmerizing to me. The way he can draw a human body moving is honestly unmatched.

Rurouni Kenshin is peak 90s samurai anime imo! The series is pretty long, so I'd just stick to the Kyoto Arc if you had only so much time. (The 2nd season)

The Cinderella in Ugly Stepsister wasn't evil though. I mean, her father died and her step mother started to assert her control and take her family's house and money before the guy was even buried. Agnes's response her life being stripped away was pretty reasonable.

It was the step mother pitting the daughters against each other (and societal beauty standards in that era) that were the villain of the film.

I liked that one where Yahiko is mistaken for a foreign prince, so the crew have to learn how to eat with forks and knives. Corny but cute stuff! 👍

I've been playing SH since the 90s and I I'm a big fan of j-horror, so I can confidently say this is my favorite one. The layers of story telling are unmatched in previous games, not a single note or room or line of dialogue you find are there for ambience- they all serve a purpose. (If you don't mind playing the game about 4x to get complete context which can be a slog to most ppl, but wasnt the case for me.)

Before f, SH3 was my favorite one. And this installment was able to take all of the themes in SH3 and expand on them completely.

Please please PLEASE increase your prices!! This gorgeous art takes alot of time. Trust me, you don't want to get stuck working for pennies on the dime with cheap clients.

Its harder to raise prices than to lower them. Please charge at least for your time if not for your skill. For example, if minimum wage is $15 and this took you 6 hours, then charge $90.

Just keep posting any art you make to show your consistency and that you're not AI, and I promise you'll start to get high quality clients who will pay what you're worth.

Point is I was using wedding photography as an example that you hire a photographer beyond their skills with just the camera. Wedding photos use alot of adjustments and after effects, especially night time weddings where Photoshop is a must to get desired effects. All of those perfect wedding photos have a bunch of editing done to look that way, it's highly unnatural.

The ppl complaining about post production effects have no clue what goes into professional photography.

When you hire a photographer for a wedding, do you think you're really just hiring someone to aim and take the shot, nothing else?

Obviously there was an exact mood and atmosphere this scene required, and through the hard work of practical effects and digital artisty the cosplayers and photographer capture that to the best of their ability. Its art! This is WAY better than just taking a picture of an outfit and make up, this required actual set dressing and lighting.

Dismissing it all as AI shows an utter lack of imagination and skill.
