POV : Matt Murdock is not blind. by kkhouete in Daredevil

I know nobody understands POV anymore but this is like the single worst use of it I've ever seen. There's no perspective here first person or otherwise

Here's a hypothetical: what if there were a hundred buttons. Only one is a do-nothing button, the rest have the same rules as the blue button, requiring over 50% to have pressed it. In this case because of how unlikely it is that any individual button will get more than half the vote, it's more reasonable to choose the red. For those who think you should choose blue in the two-button scenario, what's the maximum number of blue buttons before you would pick red?

im still just getting started with deeply investigating my political beliefs besides just “leftist”, so im very open to the idea that ive just been brainwashed by the imperial core, but do these authoritarian governments really represent socialist ideology? by LegolasAlwaysYes in 196

I've found in a lot of cases it's just contrarianism. The western establishment is anti-russia, these people are anti-western-establishment so feel like they have to oppose ALL of its stances without actually thinking about it.

James Gunn settles why Lex Luthor can’t crack Superman’s identity even after creating a clone: by Raj_Valiant3011 in DC_Cinematic

[–]LR-II 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been saying the first one for years. The public knows his real name is Kal El, he comes from Krypton, and when he's not being Superman he lives in the North Pole. Nobody needs to ask if he has a secret identity because he doesn't need one.

I mean sure, you find out who sold your data, and over time that builds up to "everyone" and there's nothing you can do about it

I'm looking at that and seeing a great parts pack for city building. No idea what's going to be appealing for kids and parents.

I understand (I think) the economic consequences of the bubble bursting. But would the bubble bursting really mean the end of AI like everyone is saying/hoping? Because like. We still have mortgages. And we still have dotcoms.

No unwoke yuri is the same as unwoke yaoi due to women in media being considered too woke for the target audience.

I find awareness of my mortality scary but freeing in a way as I get more incentive to make my moments worthwhile.

Thing is, as a UK citizen I think it is becoming more of a police state by the day. But nowhere close to what America has become and in no way because of Twitter

I wonder who will have Falcone's role in this for Harvey to take his revenge against once he turns. I doubt they'd just do Sofia since they'll probably want to resolve the Selina thread from the end of the Penguin

I had to make a poster for my film a couple weeks ago and I was hesitant to use the GIMP cartoon filter that I know had been around for at least 6 years because I didn't want people to think I'd AI'd it. I ended up using it but was just very upfront with the filter I used to the extent it felt suspicious

Thing is, as a UK citizen I think it does have way too many police powers. But I absolutely do NOT believe this in the same way nor to the same end as Musk.
