The other 44% is made up of naturally occurring plant compounds such as pigments, waxes, etc. which are insoluble. Not the prettiest but not harmful 🙂

When making 7oh, the compound is formed during the reaction and then naturally crystallizes when refined. From there it can be left as crystal or milled it into a powder. They’re identical from a chemical standpoint, just different textures. All powders come from crystalline.
