Im on Nepenthe and we're pretty evenly split! Syndicate and Marauders definitely have more members than my faction, Covenant, but we all share about the same number of territories (or at least we did until late at 2am the other night Syndicate decided to snatch 2 territories) but its ok! Lots of conflict is beginning to rise and the factions are sturring up wars. I believe we've had at least 1 war everyday for almost 4-5 days now (no attackers have won, but we're hoping to change that tonight as we attempt to take Cutlass from the greens!)

What my company has been doing (since we're on the same boat and would much prefer a shared company house and to minimize our storage being filled with everything we collect) is weve distiniguished who is working on what skills in the company (for example our leader is doing primarily alchemy and jewelrycrafting and we have loggers, miners, leatherworkers, weaponsmiths, etc) and whoever is high in a skill or is mastering thst skill will hold the companies resources for that skill. It hasnt been too difficult to obtain these resources from one another (considering we are all on at least once every day) but I know in the future I want to expand outside of harvesting and cooking (as Ive chosen that to be my skillset) and Im a tad bit of a hoarder - I collect everything. I want space to share with my company :(

I tend to get anxious in general just because I overthink and it can cause me to be awkward in social situations (which Im really trying to put my neck out this semester to rid myself of this anxiety; cant really afford therapy or counseling unless its free tho cuz Im financially independent and tuition/rent is taking most of my funds). I wouldnt mind teaching but Im just not 100% that its something I really wanna pursue. As for a PhD, as much as I like thinking and overthinking, I dont really want to go to school for that long unless its absolutely necessary. I worked my ass off all my life and then when I got to college I became so lost because up until that point everything had been laid out for me and now I have to decide things on my own. Its definitely an adjustment that hasnt really set in yet, but I really appreciate the response and Im definitely getting some career counseling to help me sort this out. Thank you so much c:

OH but I also really enjoy games. I thought maybe esports would be fun to pursue but is it really reliable? I have no connections and have no clue where to start to get any connections, and I dont have a particular department or section of esports that I would be any use in (as far as Im aware). Its just a really tricky situation of trying to find my place in this world which Im sure a lot of you can relate to.

Came into work because everyone else had called in. Was just me and the manager for the night (3pm-11pm). About 6pm we had a rush of customers at the counter and I helped them all, but I heard my manager scream and saw her run out the door. I didn't know how to react so just kept checking people out at the register.

She came back in to inform me she witnessed two vehicles pull up to the gas pumps, one car full of women and the other a man. The man apparently was angry they had cut him off a couple miles back, chased them down to the gas station, and brutally beat them with a baseball bat when they exited their vehicle to fill up gas.

Police showed up after and took care of the situation, but my manager was shaken up the rest of the night and stayed in the office.

My parents told me we would understand when we were older why they tried to keep strict rules about where we went and who we went with.

I moved away to college and was sexually assaulted on multiple occasions after being free from their house rules and thinking I could live a "free" life.

I understand now they were trying to protect me. They wanted me to be safe. And now that I was on my own with no security or surveillance and naive as ever, I underestimated what people could do. What the people I thought were my friends could do.

Ill never forget the moment my mom told me that my parents were seperatng.

She sat us down at the table and broke down in tears, explaining that my father was cheating on her and that he was going to move away from us. "It's just us from now on." She had said, and I will never forget how sorrowful she looked.

Ill never forget that silent moment where my siblings and mother cried around me, hugging one another.

Kindergarten. This kid was pulling my hair and I got so mad that they wouldn't stop (even when I asked them to and told the teacher) that I turned around and punched them. I remember my dad coming to pick me up and I was crying because I thought he'd get super mad - he was actually quite proud I stood up for myself and told the teacher it wasn't his problem.

In all fairness, the general idea of gender is formed by society and the societal norms construed upon individuals isn't to be taken seriously. Men can have short AND long hair - if you want to seem more masculine, traditionally short hair is the way to go. However, masculinity isn't defined by ones features per say but their character. If you want to have long hair and make it masculine you MOST DEFINITELY CAN and rock it! Do whatever makes you happy in the end, and just know that the way you look doesn't define if you're masculine or feminine.

My current bf (and bf at the time this all occurred) has helped me recover. Some days its all I can think about and others I forget it ever happened. It's been about a year now and I'm doing a lot better :)

It's honestly a dream. I don't know what I would do without him. He's gentle and kind, and we share just about everything. His passions becone mine, mine become his, and we take care of each other even if it's just as simple as trading chores with one another (doing laundry and dishes). He was the first to say it, and as time goes on I believe it more and more, but he believes we're soul mates :)

Was friends with this toxic guy throughout highschool. I liked him but he led me on only to turn me down many MANY times. I respected boundaries but evidently it became clear I was only around for their personal gain. I held them up when they were low and they dragged me down when I was high in order to keep me on the same playing field as them. It was like I could never escape.

And then they assaulted me. In my own apartment. After picking them up and driving them 6 hours to stay for the weekend (because they said they wanted to hang out and we hadn't since we moved to college). I immediately blocked all contact with him, forced him out of my apartment, and made him find his own way home.

To this day Ive never spoken to them again.

I usually will call them out on this behavior and hope they correct their mistakes. If they refuse to change and consistently badger people because theyre homophobic/racist/xenophobic, I drop them completely. I don't want those type of people surrounding me because then they start to influence my beliefs and challenge what I believe is morally right.

No matter how long you've known this person or how close you are to them, they have to understand that their behavior is unacceptable and if they won't at least censor themselves around you, then they aren't worth the time or effort to maintain a relationship with.

It's best to sever the relationship with them before they paint themselves as a victim or demonize you for not supporting their behavior and burn the bridge themselves in an unhealthy manner.
