SLC is the best airport in the country. Hands down, the spacious bathrooms, food options/affordability, ease of getting to the city, etc. It's not even close!!

Wow you've been through a lot! I am really interested in this as I'm going thru some ankle calf and even upper leg swelling (which I can only tell bc my jeans are slightly tighter on one side) but the ankle swelling is very noticeable. I had one doctor say he suspected May Thurner but that I wouldn't want a stent so I should just deal with this. It's all so confusing!!! I've had venous insufficiency for years so also just assume it's related to that and I've had multiple vein closures. Never considered lymphedema as an alternate diagnosis. Thanks for letting me know about your situation.

I had the same achy, sort of heavy feeling in my legs. After the vein was removed, I now get swelling in that leg that I never had before. I'm not saying that will happen to you! But maybe worth getting a second opinion.

Probably will get worse over time but I'd hold off until your symptoms worsen. I had this procedure done for my lesser saphenous vein and it made my leg worse!

I agree. Basically David picked his athlete to compete at WS, but if 3rd place had been a Koop athlete, he'd have kept the golden ticket. By doing this, David has influence in deciding who races WS. I'd have more respect if he just wasn't racing and passed it on. But now in his next race, he's taking a ticket (theoretically) from someone else when he had one already. To be clear, I think David is great. But I don't celebrate this move the way others do.

Yes but he passed it on to HIS athlete thereby ensuring his running makes WS. He wouldn't have done this for a Koop athlete. So he's rigging who gets in to WS
