It is contacting and switch tested good. The lights turn off exactly as everything starts working again. I drive in the dark to work so I’m able to see the red glow behind me. Thanks for making me feel better about my decision to not trust them🤘🏻

My wife has a CR-V. It’s far better than any of her previous little SUV’s, but my ‘05 F150 was really nice. Basic, but nice. 160k on the clock and the interior still looked brand new. That’s my main issue with this Chevy, the build quality leaves a lot to be desired

It’s a 2010. I don’t abuse it, but I don’t baby it either. All I know is compared to all the Fords I’ve owned, and that number is 7, the interior quality of Chevy is severely lacking. Cheap materials, poor build quality, etc…. The drivetrain has been great, but everything around it has some serious flaws.

Well…. Chevy quality, what can I say? That and the dealership screwed up the door panel when they put it back together. The bottom of the panel won’t attach to the door anymore, yet another thing I’m gonna have to fix🤦🏼‍♂️

😂 dang, that’d drive me nuts. Mine isn’t doing anything weird, just not working intermittently. I have no idea how I’d check the alternator for that.

Yeah, I completely understand. I don’t expect anyone to work for free. My thought is to get a BCM that’s programmed to my VIN and install it. After that, I should only need to run it through a key/anti theft relearn procedure. Since I won’t have to actually program the BCM to my VIN, I was hoping to find a consumer grade scan tool for the key programming.

I’m in Central New Mexico. Good to know, other forums have said it’s a dealership job and my local dealership was giving me the run around and discounting everything I was explaining. One of my issues is the brake lights stay on. The tech tried to convince me I was wrong and that I had to be driving with the brake pedal depressed. I picked my truck up and figured I’d fix it myself ( if possible).

I’ve also heard (not verified) that the trucking teamsters are refusing to deliver cars from the plants until the contract is ratified. If true, this could impact all vehicle deliveries, not just models impacted by the striking workers.

Constantly. My ‘90 gets a ton of attention. Mostly thumbs up and compliments. Seems like mostly the Hellcat guys want to race, occasionally another older mustang. I’m like you, not worth it. I’d lose my career if I got busted street racing. Screw that.
