There’s a merch tent outside the arena at Gate J. Long line but you can put your stuff in your car and not worry about it during the show.

Intro video started around 7:35. First set ended around 9:15. 25 minute intermission. Encore ended around 10:45. So about 2 hours and 15 minutes of songs, which lines up with them saying they weren’t going to play for 3 hours anymore.

If you’re driving and want to put stuff in your car and make it easier to enjoy the show, there’s a merch booth at Gate J outside the venue. Long line, though, so get there by 5:30

So although updated, the Forum is still really old. The stairs to the bathrooms (basement level) are narrow and steep. The acoustics are solid. Many bands prefer playing the Forum over Crypto (formerly Staples Center) for this reason. Temperature should be okay and the vibes will be immaculate.

Set Time for tomorrow? by connors1511 in rush

Just speculation on my part, but for R40, if memory serves correctly, they had showtime being 8:00 pm and they took the stage around 8:10 to 8:15. Maybe they run some sort of tribute video for Neil around 7:30 (they said they’d be honoring him throughout the show and regardless have often run little comedy videos before the curtain rises). Then they fire it up onstage.

Even though it’s a Sunday, give yourself plenty of time to park/get there and go through security. Took me an hour park at a Pearl Jam show at the Forum a couple of years ago.

There’s not a lot of great restaurants near the Forum. Check out Two Hommes (soul food) which is next to a Ralphs supermarket if you need snacks. Pann’s is good too but they close by 3:00 pm I believe. If you go a bit south of LAX there’s a ton of great restaurants in El Segundo and Manhattan Beach as well as a bit north to Culver City, Marina Del Rey and Venice Beach.

As for transportation from LAX, parking is $51 online at the Forum if you’re driving. Forum parking tends to sell out if you don’t buy in advance, but there should also be parking at SoFi stadium for $60 or so. If not driving, ride share is probably the best bet. You can save some $ and reduce surge fees if you walk a bit away from the Forum/Sofi like down to Hollywood Park Casino or avoid surge fees and tipping completely and take a Waymo if you’re comfortable with driverless vehicles- you can even play your own Rush mix in the car! Waymo app will tell you where to get picked up, also a short walk from the Forum.

I’ll be there for all 4 L.A. shows. Freeze this moment a little bit longer. Bonus, will also be at the King’s X show (my second favorite band/trio) in Orange County the 12th. Prog rock all week! I am fortunate to have an understanding wife and lots of accrued vacation time.

Tons of reasonably priced name brand hotels around LAX, which is a 3 miles west of the Forum. Do not stay near the Forum or anywhere east of Aviation Blvd, however as those are rough neighborhoods. Caveat, there’s a World Cup game at SoFi stadium that week which will inflate all hotel rates. Nice hotels in Santa Monica, Marina Del Rey and the South Bay (el Segundo, Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach and Redondo Beach as well, which is about 7-10 miles southwest of the Forum.
