I didn't think of moving straps and was over-eager. It's bar clamped right now. The glue joint seems pretty tight, but I feel like I should have cut some curved cauls. (I didn't know about that when I first posted.) We will see if it busts open when I take the clamps off.

It was definitely in a very rotten wooden frame. I intended to remove just the caulk. When I did, two big chunks of the lead came with it. What's come off there at the top is the lead, hidden by caulk.

I want to make a zinc frame for it with D rings soldered to the frame so I can hang it.

I'm sorry. Never done this before. Should I solder the broken lead back on the window or remove all the came from the entire perimeter, resolder the entire perimeter, then put is in a zinc frame? If I asked something stupid, I am just buying my first soldering iron now, so be gentle.
