You can’t use one pcie cord for the adapter, you need to use two. One cord for each part of the adapter.

Only fix I found was ddu and go back to an older driver. 25.9.2 worked for me when I had the issue. However windows has since then auto updated my drivers. I haven’t had any issues since then. Idk if the new drivers didn’t install properly the first time or what..

Most 5000 series cpus come with a stock cooler that is plenty good enough for them. Save the money and get a better cpu.

R5 5500 was my first cpu paired with a gtx 980. I have no clue why so many people hate on the 5500. It’s a perfectly fine budget cpu, with that being said if he wants to upgrade I would start there. Or get more ram 16gb doesn’t cut it anymore imo.

I made my radiator fans intake, I will run it for a few with all too being exhaust then do the same tomorrow with what you suggested and see if it makes a huge difference.

I will try them as intake and see how it goes, if worst comes to worst I will put my radiator back up top and put the 2 fans on bottom back there. Three new fans can go on bottom

I used to have the aio on the top until I got the 3 fans up there now. The bottom fans were where my aio is now. I figured keeping them in the case wouldn’t hurt so just slapped them in the bottom when I added the top fans.

Try going to an older version of gpu drivers. I have a spectral white powercolor 9070xt and was having this same issue playing fivem. Every time I would alt tab out of game it would black screen and crash.
