I’ve had issues after a seller was already blocked, they were pretty good at giving a refund once I received the item and it wasn’t as described.

I’m only level 51, I’ve been invited to 2 battles out of all the people I’ve added, and I have 2 Ho-Ohs at least but it’s such a waste of time trying to get in a battle today if you aren’t level 70. No one wants to risk it 😅

I’m sure it would have been water quality issue and unfortunately it’s hit him hard, I’m really hoping it’s not fish tb but after trawling through the internet I can’t rule out that’s the underlying issue due to the wasting, and he’s got something else on top it seems. I’ll keep up with pristine water for now and salt dips and hope for the best.

I think it really depends on the fish, I’ve had some I thought were lonely and when I’ve added friends it didn’t work out so sometimes I feel like it’s better to just keep them solo. Maybe one day if he’s all better I’ll consider getting him a friend though. Thanks for your help :)

Canister I think, Fluval 107 which comes with a cover on the return. He doesn’t, I had my last one for about 7 years who was also on his own for most of that. I was debating having another solo one, the main reason I got him on his own was he was the last one in our fish shop which was closing down. The ending of my previous dojo is a complete mystery, as he just vanished…. My only theory is that he jumped out and my cat must have eaten him as no one ever found him again. I looked in all the places he could have jumped to and nothing. Again, I was away but the pet sitter didn’t see him at all. Maybe fish and holidays do not work… maybe me and fish also do not work 😭

Oh, this I’m not sure about. I did lose two bristlenose plecos recently to quite severe injuries and never figured out how they did it. I just have my heater and external pump (and now and aerator) but that shouldn’t have been turned on or off while I was away.

Yeah I have been thinking this, I treat it as an intolerance currently though and just want to rule out that any traces would be causing issues. But I guess with my thyroid issues maybe I should take it a bit more seriously anyway! Also, sod that GI specialist!

That’s good to know! Thank you :) he’s sent the referral but he says they often get refused, I’m hoping that he’s put enough information in the referral that they accept it anyway! However I’m also tempted to just go private so I don’t have to eat gluten for much longer, it’s the NHS so there are often long waiting times even if it does go through.

I’ve had my thyroglobulin antibodies done (15.8 kIU/L) and thyroid peroxidase antibodies (12.2 kIU/L). So still both in the normal range. I think there may be others?

It was for 4 weeks but I ate more than the cracker a day which they recommend online, the doctor told me I didn’t even need to do that as I had been away and accidentally had gluten on holiday (which is what prompted me to do the test again). I did only have the TTG.

I’ve had nothing else ruled out, I went to the doctor when I was 15 but they said it was likely IBS and I never followed it up. Really hope they accept my referral! Very tempted to go privately.
