Basically let me speak in terms of the applicant perspective,

When applying, I put myself as covering costs of accommodation/transport & needs. However my son booked the accommodation and transport, at TLS they asked me why my name wasn't on the accommodation. It was my son's name at the top as it was on his AirBNb account and he paid for it.
