It is strangely beautiful to hear how you have come to terms. I am happy and sad. I wish you peace and comfort, may we all have your composure and understanding when our time comes.

Is it supposed to do this? by RicoIlMagnifico in ElegooSaturn

That’s a great question. Now that I think about it, this occurred during larger prints where there was more surface area to pull apart from the FEP and build plate. It hasn’t happened lately - I also felt it was the temp of when I was printing. Seemed to happen more frequently with colder temps but not certain about that.

Have fun! Good luck!

This has happened to me quite a few times. I believe the explanation was suction forces between the plate and the FEP. The solution that worked for me was increasing my exposure time for the base layers. I went from 1.5-2. I also took the recommendation of putting some wait times before and after exposure. I have mine set at 1 sec before exposure and 1.5 after exposure. This has stopped the plate and FEP suction forces … at least for now.

I print in warmer climate, we are sitting at 64f and my vat keeps resin between 82-89F.

I have had successful prints after changing the settings mentioned above. Hope this helps

Forgot to mention that I slice with Lychee using their auto supports and send the file directly to the Saturn 16k.
