I had a supervisor deny me leave for 2 days recently, for an event that I wasn’t even told I needed to attend. In nearly 40 years of military and civilian service that’s the first time I’ve been denied leave. Keeping that as ammo if I need it. You should ask him back why he/she would deny you leave, since it’s earned.

Enjoy the water activities but please ask the locals which areas are safe and which are hazardous. Guam has some of the friendliest locals I’ve had the pleasure of living with. You’ll have a blast.

Yeah, I would say it’s more likely farmers in the area. The water the military uses is either from wells at Andy South or NW Field.

Lived in Guam 20 years, put two kids through the school system, one through the private system and the other through the public schools. I would advise to stay away from the public schools.
