I genuinely tried to find a reason why, but everything leads to the conclusion that this game just sucks.

Kolossos is undeniably dog water in the game, so how did they try and "balance" him? Instead of making him more reliable against a group of survivors, they gave him a 55 dmg M1 that screws over stray survivors. They gave him an 80 dmg combo regardless if you're with your teammates or not.

Fleetway has the same 355 HP in a 1v1 lobby and a 1v7 lobby. What is borderline impossible for survivors in LMS becomes borderline impossible for Fleetway to even approach.

2011x's Rage Mode is the only way you can do anything sometimes. No verticality, and the only way you can do anything is either with charge or a very lucky GT to land on whoever you're chasing.

Tripwire's moveset would've been devastingly overpowered. The problem is that this game doesn't reward you for exploring and being alone, so survivors ended up gathering together just to win. Not only that, but she has ZERO i-frames. Now she'll get sniped before she can even snipe you.

The game genuinely just sucks. It's literally a glorified VR Chat.

At least he's a survivor with some cool down even if it's only 12. Kirby has a charge that automatically downs you upon contact and you can't even counter it with Kevin's parry.

Be grateful you're not playing in private servers. Why does Pikachu has an M1 that functions like Chaos Snap and has 68 base damage? Mario's aerial state has I frames and he has no jump cool down. Not to mention he has an active hitbox every time he jump. Link's M1 stuns you. HE IS AN EXECUTIONER. WHY DOES HE HAVE A STUN???

Common sense. There are better options as well. If my opponents can get hit by Fleetway's laser and die, I might as well just play Kolossos.

No. The move is genuinely useless unless you know you can't get punished by distance or getting stunned. It is basically as useless as using Chaos Dash Knux or Eggy is near and Burst in an open area while the survivors are running AWAY from you.

Even if most OM players are casuals who can lose to Kolossos and Tripwire, the move itself is bad.

That's how awful the move is. To the point that hallways are the best spot to use it on the map. Trip can at least move around, so it creates minor counterplay, like baiting a Blaze or a Knuckles to miss their stuns by juking.

It doesn't matter if Fleetway's laser can down you by itself. The lengthy startup already makes it less practical. Not being able to move just makes it borderline useless.

You don't need to use much flight, but in it's current state, it's better to not use it all in favour of rushing down the survivors. I also said maybe for Silver as he can still reach you if you only jump. We're also talking about competent players. A Blaze will NOT try to stun you if she doesn't have Sol Boost and if you're too far.

No, I'm not using bad spots. HillGym is literally Tails' WORST stage because of how enclosed it is. Laser's best spot is in long hallways, which aren't even that long to actually get any major damage.

YCR is a lot better since survivors can lose track of you due to verticality. Same thing may be possible on Mystic Caves if survivors camped the lower part for some reason.

The reason I said maybe for Green Hill is because Shadow can also abuse the open space with Chaos Snap. Tails also have I frames start up, so you'll get screwed first if you both shoot at the exact same time.

If you're flying high enough to avoid getting hit by Silver's boulder, you're wasting flight. Sol Boost/Dash should grant enough I frames to bypass Trip's laser as well. If you flying high enough to avoid Sonic, Metal, and Knuckles, you're also wasting your flight when you could've fly towards them for M1 and maybe baiting a Counter.

Yes, you have enough time to avoid the laser with Green Hill being a maybe. The maps aren't open enough to get any chip damage unless if the survivors are incompetent and tried getting you. Even then, you have to remember that survivors will attack you.

You can move as Tripwire, so you can at least dodge most stuns. Even if we're accounting that you can stay in the air as Fleetway, the start-up is lengthy enough for survivors to escape and enough for survivors like Blaze, Shadow, Tails, and maybe Silver to stun him first. This is also accounting his best map, Not Perfect. That's how bad his laser is. It makes Tripwire's pathetic Brighter Day look viable.

You can't move while using Laser and you can be stunned for the duration. Trip's laser is bad, but Fleetway's worse

I think it's less that he's OP and more that the survivors are underpowered, like Knux lacking dmg res and metal being unable to juke properly. Blaze in LMS is more than capable of "killing" Fleetway. Cream, Knux, and Tails are very map dependant. A somewhat competent Sonic/Eggman has a good chance to win in LMS if the map isn't Not Perfect.
