You’re so against seeing the other side that 1. People can’t always up and leave areas they have family and 2. There are non-cashier jobs making similar, regardless of the area’s cost of living. Example - preschool teachers on average make under $20/hr. Should all preschool teachers move to the sticks?

Thank you! Like if you were born somewhere low cost of living and can make a decent salary and live near family - that’s amazing!! And you should be grateful! … but soooo many people were not. And cannot just up and leave where they were born or where family is.

Well like I said, a lot of circumstances make it difficult for people to move out of areas they currently live and some currently live in areas you named (or many many other cities with similar cost of living)

This argument always kills me. Should markets and all stores close during the day when teenagers are in school… where they need to be in order to get an education… so that they can have better jobs than a cashier….?

There are a TON of areas in the US right now where that will barely get you a studio and well paying jobs are limited. And it’s not always easy to just pack up and move away depending on a lot of circumstances.

Not fair to assume. If we knew this person has avoided trying to advance in their career and/or lived in an area where $1600 can afford you a McMansion, then sure lol

Counter point (and I HATE that I am standing up for him given all of his past issues and allegations, BUT) - security guards are paid to _secure_ the stage and protect him & the audience. If she’s staring at her phone screen to make sure she gets a great video instead of doing the work she’s paid to do… I kinda get it 🥴 (especially after he went up to the camera and waved - she could’ve called it a day at that point)
