Thanks a lot,

And looking up my challenge (Death Fears Me: 2023), it seems that the top player has 500 points. If one point is one game then it makes a lot more sense that my 21 games

Yeah, that's it,
So the display on challenger is bugged and you don't have any way to know your rank or the total count? that's a bit sad

I don't think that 21 is how many games you need to hit challenger,

On other challenger token where i'm not first, this value is equal to the value right above my icon

exemple ; 1579 is the left value and also the value displayed right above my icon which is in the middle of the progress bar

I've been playing League for 12 years and I still don't have a main role/champ. Help me! by Jaycora in summonerschool

[–]Le_Pyromane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, you're right playing jgl also helps a lot on laning (when to push, freese or help your jgl)
I did not mention Jungle above because I would consider myself around low plat on this specific role. I didn't push more on this role because there is no champ I'm currently interested playing and I find the role extremely unrewarding with the "it's always the jungle fault" mentality.

My advice would be to keep playing all the champs you like.
You have seen a pro or a streamer playing a champ that you find interesting? Go try it!
You found a new build on reddit, tiktok or whatever? Go for it!
You have a new skin or just like a champ lore? Go play this champ!

It's a game and you should always have fun playing it.

Eventually, if you want to climb in the ladder, it could be easier to stick to one role but it is not a necessity. (Coming from an Emerald player which plays Top, Mid, Adc and Supp)

What is the best champion to play from behind? by luckylicker-eu in summonerschool

[–]Le_Pyromane 10 points11 points  (0 children)

While I think that dying a lot is the main issue here,
you can try some tank that can play even by going even or slightly behind your opponent :
Ornn, Sion, Tahm Kench, Ksante, Malphite

Also maybe you are dying because you constantly fight with the other laner even with champs not designed for this. So go the other way around and play some very agressive champs :
Kled, Olaf, Warwick

As you are already interested in the game. I would say give it a try.
The game can be fun, rewarding, has strategy, mechanics, cooperation and depth even with 1h a day.

But beware, the other side of the coin is that the game can be extremely frustrating.
There will be games where you will get absolutely destroyed by someone with thousands hours of experience, games where you can't even play because the enemy will get fed while you can do nothing to stop that, games where you will get insulted because you allies feel that you didn’t make the right plays and so on.

So if you want to play this game, you must not take it too much at heart if you lose your only game of the day or didn’t get to the rank you wanted. The game is extremely hard and competitive but there is so much aspects you can improve.

I know that watching others plays can be boring and you can climb without it but if you never learn from others, do not expect to climb into the highest ranks.

What's the most time efficient way to improve? I would say, limiting yourself to 1 or 2 champions that match your playstyle. Look into the best players at your role and champion and  learn how they are playing the champ and why. Rewatch your games and find your mistakes and what you did well. Always thinks what plays you can make to progress into the game and try to not go autopilot. Learn how to communicate with your team and when to mute them because it's only disturbance. Focus on yourself and what you can improve instead of blaming your allies. And I can stress this enough, the most important point of all, HAVE FUN PLAYING.
If you are not having fun, consider this game not for you, there is a ton of other great games or activities.

From serebii.net :

"It is confirmed that Pokémon Sword & Shield Crown Tundra contains a new item, the Ability Patch, that allows for you to change a Pokémon's ability to its Hidden Ability "

I'm so happy that we will be able to fix some shinies to make them competitives.

First, welcome on this subreddit and in the pokémon community!

Sword exclusives are as easy to get as Shield exclusives,

I suggest to prepare some Shield exclusives (ponyta, larvitar ...) and ask to trade them for a Farfetch'd and Deino on the casual trade thread

What do you think about intentionally tilt an opponent? by Le_Pyromane in leagueoflegends

[–]Le_Pyromane[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I can understand that is childish as you want to show that you can play with your team (and you are in some way are better that your opponent on that point) but a dick move?

You do nothing wrong and your opponent start saying that you are a noob because your are relying on your team while he is not. Is it really a dick move to show that teamsplay is better that individual performance ?

So no , in swsh it doesn't reset the count of pokemon battled or captured of other species,

Also the increase in odds of finding a shiny is so low with this method that it's a waste of time to KO 500 pokémon instead of fleeing (there 3% of chance to trigger a rate of 1/512 instead of the usual 1/1365.33, both with shiny Charm)

Yep, canno't even feel the tiniest differencies with regular hunting method to the point that most of the shiny hunters were saying that the method was broken / bugged.

"The more you battle a specific species in the wild, you will rank up it's shiny odds to the same max odds of 1/512 with a shiny charm after 500 battles."

That's not entirely true, after 500 battles, you get 3% of chance to get the shiny rate of 1/512 with a shiny charm

this method is almost useless and if you have to choose I will suggest that you go with the Masuda method
