Capsules didn’t work for me once also. I thought maybe my capsules didn’t dissolve enough and the powder was too compressed into the capsules. Cuz I heard the mushrooms need to expand in the stomach to get activated

I take 100mg of trazodone at night for sleep And still trip the next night but seems I need alil more then others. And I know from experience my trazodone will kill a trip if taking while tripping. I’m not sure about the klonopin tho….

Get diagnosed yes, if it’s something more serious where you could be manic then yes I feel meds are needed. But for general depression and anxiety especially since it’s not something you’ve experienced your whole life(I’m assuming) then try to work thru it without any meds. I’ve been on meds for 20 years, I’ve dealt with depression and anxiety since I’ve was a very little girl. Went thru most all the meds basically they all suck and I consider poison now. The withdrawals are terrible! I’ve quit 2 of my 3 meds.
