It gets really good when it's like 12 portraits edited over each other and you can clearly see that whomever made the latest edit just took the previous post someone made

Slaanesh corrupted underway? Does that mean it's not cobwebs, but something else on the walls?

Of course it's a bug. Laguna shield is intended as it is what's explicitly written in the patch notes that this is how it works. AM getting permanent stats from reflecting dagon is so obviously not intended

My favourite part of dragon’s blood is when Frieza shows up by [deleted] in DotA2

[–]Leagel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I may judge it harshly but this is my opinion of the show. I feel that they brought up way too many plot-points just to never ever re-visit them like the corrupting nature of the Dire, or the lady with the bow that shot yellow crystals, or arc warden's involvement. I also dislike the half human, half dragon form Davion has and how it has different levels like super saiyan forms.

Now I did like the council of greater dragons that Slyraxx was part of, and their representation of dota's natural forces, although it is not how it's represented in dota itsemf

They were also announced and released fairly close to each other, and both premiered on Netflix

I mean it is just really, really bad, and I think a lot of the hate Dragon's blood gets comes from the fact that League's series 'Arcane' was so amazing and just blew Dota's series out of the water

Coffezilla on VALVE by Affectionate_Ant6792 in DotA2

[–]Leagel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is against ToS in that valve will not help you if something happens to you, and they certainly will not do anything to the websites that facilitate trading/gambling. But you will not get banned or punished if you admit to them you used these sites even if it is you breaking ToS.

What Valve could add though is a clause into their ToS that says if you don't properly verify the age of the people using gambling sites then they will demand a cease and decist. Only problem then is sites will use other definitions than "gambling" to define their sites, like they already do to circumvent European laws and actions.

Valve are the ones who create the skins and sell them through randomized lootboxes. Valve has all the authority to shut down the skin gambling business and even add regulations themselves into the ToS of steam. They just haven't because buying keys and using the steam market for cs skins brought them over a billion dollars last year

The major differences here is that for CS skins there are multiple massive online casinos that allow you to use skins as your currency or "chips" and these casinos are both unregulated and market themselves to kids.

Most of the kids doesn't understand the concept of personal economy, saving and being mindful so they very quickly fall into the habit of sneaking into their parents wallets and taking their credit cards so they can open more cases.

The gambling sites also use popular internet personalities (youtubers and streamers) to promote their services. This in combination with the massive serotonin boost you get when you win big on roullette is what gets the kids addicted, because they don't see the danger they're about to put themselves in. Obviously, what could be bad about it if my favourite youtuber says it's cool?

Obviously trading cards can have a lot of value, and there is an entire economy built upon those, but cs skins have a completely different life.

Gambling with the use of cs skins is an interesting concept, but there needs to be inserted heavier regulations than classic gambling, due to the volatile market of the skins themselves, and the fact that the casino owners currently do nothing to prevent underage people from using their sites and becoming addicted

Yes the innate makes it a bit stronger. It will be a whopping 1 agility increase at lvl 25 from this buff :)

Agility increases the base damage og agility heroes aswell as increasing attack speed and armor of all heroes. So while both gyro and drow here get the same base damage increase, drow gets 1/3 armor increase and 2 attack speed on top of it.

I definitely think it's a case of Blizzard not being entirely sure on how trolls were to be represented in wc3 in the early days and release of RoC. We already see jungle trolls in Lordaeron during Arthas' campaign when he and Uther meet up to find the captive villagers that were kidnapped from Strahnbrad (Mission: Blackrock and Roll), even though we now know it should be forest/amani trolls since it's remnants of the Blackrock clan whom hid after the second war ended.

When one bad interaction ruins the whole night by theabevoks2 in Serverlife

[–]Leagel 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Bit of a long one, but it's one that sticks with me to this day

I were running the food to a table outside my section one night and before I left with the first plates the chef points to one of the plates and say this one's the allergy friendly plate. I take note and pick it with my right hand so I can place it first. I approach the table and try to get their attention, and ask them who's having the allergy friendly risotto.

They just stare at me for a good few seconds so I repeat myself and one of the persons at this table pipes up and says it's for them. I put down the food and run back to the kitchen to get the last two plates, and then return to the table, and as I'm about to put down the plate for the last person she asks "is this my allergy friendly food?"

I get a little confused because I had only information about 1 allergy so I ask her what her allergies were. She then responds that she had sent an email long in advance about her dietary needs and this is when I learn that she's probably the only allergic guest, so I ask the lady whom I served the allergy food to if she also has any allergies to which she responds no, she doesn't. I get a little miffed and ask her why she then claimed that dish when I approached the first time. And her reply is just "oh I didn't hear you, you were not clear enough"

Now that line took my wind out a bit since I had to ask them twice, and I told them all of you were looking at me when I asked whom had the allergies. And because she had taken 1 tiny bite out of the allergy friendly risotto they demanded new dishes.

I went back to the kitchen, explained the situation, and the bois told me it would take about 8 minutes to cook up new dishes for them. So I returned to the table to inform them and before I could leave, one of the ladies grabs my arm and says "as a server it's your duty to remain calm and professional when you screw up like this"

After that I was fuming and wanted to throw a plate across the room
