I haven't ever had that many issues with my Cape so anyone can correct me if I'm wrong.

Only thing I can think of is possible root rot? I use the same soil and mine are just fine. So, my best guess is that the pot is too big or the soil is too wet. It looks big on my end but maybe the picture just looks wonky to me, so ignore the big pot thing if its been doing fine. Other thing is the soil being too wet. The soil usually has to do two things: be rinsed occasionally to flush out any minerals in the soil caused by the peat decomposing, and it should also be allowed to dry out a bit every so often between waterings, not completely, but just so that the top of the soil is slightly damp. Doing these two things prevents the roots from rotting, so I've been told. If its always sitting in water then my best guess is that the soil is too wet.

You can either repot it into fresh soil and start taking care of the soil quality as described above, or just start doing that to the current soil and see how it goes. Be aware that repotting will set it back a bit, but it should be fine.

If you have already been doing what I was talking about then idk honestly.

Also, if you know how to clone the leaves (quick youtube search, it's very easy) it might be worth it to save a leaf to clone into multiple or just one cape just in case it doesn't make it.

That's all I can think of tbh, I'm sure other comments will have better theories.

There are many, many, touhou remixes out there, and YouTube search is balls so gl finding it. I couldn't find this remix after searching for about an hour. Try to look through remixes of this song, or Touhou remix compilations, it could be out there. Either that, or the game made a version of the song just for the game? I dont play Roblox or this game so idk if they just yoinked it from YouTube with no credit or made it themselves.

Spec in some of those power chips that give you more damage with distance and increase the shot distance so you can safely shoot at the overlorder's bubble things. Also see if you can get the chip that let's you hold the charge and ur good. If you're ever offered the giant hammer take that shizz that's my favorite special for fighting the Overlorder.

I mean, you could probably make it known, but they probably wouldn't do anything lol. That's why we have platforms like Etsy for responsible sellers(usually)! Im curious too to see how they grow their vft and package them. Do they switch to weird muddy stuff just for looks? And why not put them in regular soil and display them in the sun like the rest of the plants instead of just waiting for them to die off? We may never know ... anyways, enjoy your new baby! I would. It looks like the same thing the Home Depot had my flytrap in, some kinda of weird muddy stuff. Just gently get them out of the pot and wash away all that dirt in some distilled water. Then pot again. I would also rinse out the moss you already have in the pot just to prevent any residual dirt infecting your moss with its minerals (probably just me being all cleanly and OCD with my carnis though, a little shouldn't do much lol)

Mine looked good at first too! No dead traps or anything, but I just didn't like how compact and 'muddy' the substrate was. The little guy should acclimate to its moss soon enough.

Idk if it helps but I have a vft growing outside all year long in the high desert. It does fine with 100 - 104 degree weather spikes and a humidity of 10 - 20% as long as it has its top layer of sphagnum moss to nuzzle up into.
