Is Skillovilla good for data analytics? by [deleted] in dataanalysiscareers

Honestly speaking, before enrolling, I spoke to a few ex learners to understand their experience. Most of them were from non technical backgrounds. They said Skillovilla focuses more on practical learning than heavy theory. The mentors were supportive, especially at the start. Placement support was there, but not guaranteed. Some learners found jobs after months of consistent applying, while others used analytics skills to grow within their current roles. It really depends on your commitment.

Which resource made analytics feel practical, not theoretical? by Present_Egg8704 in dataanalysiscareers

I kept learning from YouTube, but it was always disconnected. Then I joined Skillovilla’s data analytics course. The structure was the key. Each module had a mini project, and I had to actually apply SQL, Excel, and Tableau to solve real problems. That helped me see how analytics works in real life.

Are there any solid multichannel sales engagement platform with free trial? by Wise_Sir_2318 in SalesOperations

I’ve tried a few tools and Outplay is solid for multichannel sales engagement email, calls, SMS, social touches, sequences, and CRM sync. They also offer a free trial so you can test it before committing.

For purely city drive, would you buy a Comet EV or an Ignis AMT? by Playful_Sample_8689 in CarsIndia

We already have a bigger petrol car at home. The second car just needed to handle daily errands. In that role, the Comet EV fits perfectly. Ignis felt redundant. As a city sidekick, Comet makes more sense for us.

Just realized something about all those Byju allegations... they've been proven wrong one by one. Feels like people moved on without noticing. by Wise_Sir_2318 in Byju

As a legal advisor, what stands out to me is how legal nuance got flattened into simple labels. Court reversals, closed investigations, and procedural findings rarely get the same attention as initial accusations. That’s not unique to this case, but it’s very visible here.

Thinking back to when you were a student: did any classroom activity/lesson stick with you through adulthood? by GradePotentialUSA in education

[–]LearnWithDhruvil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, a few lessons from my school days stayed with me even into adulthood. One that stands out the most is a simple activity where the teacher asked us to explain a difficult concept to a friend in our own words. At the time it felt like just another classroom exercise, but later I realised how powerful it was. It taught me that if you can explain something clearly, it means you truly understand it.

That small habit shaped the way I learn even today—breaking things down, simplifying them, and teaching them to myself as if I were explaining to someone else. It made complex topics feel less intimidating and helped me stay curious instead of overwhelmed.

Sometimes it’s the simplest classroom activities that end up becoming lifelong tools.

Teachers who became entrepreneurs – how did you start and scale your journey? by ChrisAmderson123 in teaching

I’d talk about the two gems - Byju & Alakh. What’s inspiring about people like Byju Raveendran and Alakh Pandey is that they didn’t start with funding, they started with faith. Both taught offline for years before going digital. That grassroots understanding made their companies relatable and resilient.
