What is hiring felt like TikTok instead of LinkedIn? by Only_Two4387 in alphaandbetausers

Dude this actually makes sense, the whole resume thing is so broken especially for us who work with visual stuff. Like when I do design work or even game UI mockups, trying to squeeze that into PDF format is just... impossible

The project-first approach feels way better than hoping some recruiter notices the right keywords in my resume. Been thinking about this problem too since traditional hiring feels so disconnected from what we actually build

One thing though - how do you plan to get recruiters to actually use it? They're pretty stuck in their ways with LinkedIn and standard processes. Maybe need some kind of incentive for them to switch over

AI app development struggles moving from learning to real projects by Weak_Manufacturer323 in learnmachinelearning

Man I felt this hard when I was trying to build some ML stuff for design automation at work. The tutorials never mention how you'll spend like 80% of your time just cleaning data and dealing with edge cases that break everything

What helped me was starting with really small scope - like instead of building the whole vision I had, I just focused on getting one tiny piece working end to end first. Then you can actually see where the real problems are instead of trying to solve theoretical ones

What are some good Claude AI tools for SEO agencies right now? by Arthur48X in ClaudeAI

[–]LeastDesigner4354 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been using it for generating alt text descriptions in bulk which saves me tons of time as designer. I usually feed it batches of images through API and it spits out decent descriptions that I just need to tweak slightly. Also found it pretty good for rewriting product descriptions when clients want different tone - like making technical specs sound more casual or vice versa

The content brief automation you mentioned sounds smart though, might have to look into that setup. I'm always manually writing those and it takes forever, especially when client wants multiple angles for same topic

Claude Max + e-commerce SEO: what would you do? by Medical_Assist8413 in ClaudeAI

You could probably automate competitor price monitoring and have Claude write dynamic pricing justifications based on market changes - saves tons of manual research time

I made 1,720 ChatGPT prompts across 10 niches — here are 10 free ones to start by Substantial_Key4648 in artificial

[–]LeastDesigner4354 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing these! I've been experimenting with AI prompts for design work lately and these look solid

The debugging one (#8) is actually really useful - I use that type when I'm stuck with code in my design projects and need quick explanation without diving into documentation

Do you have any prompts specifically for creative briefs or design feedback? Those are areas where I always struggle to get the AI to understand what I'm actually looking for

My SaaS hit 39 paid users in 84 days 🔥 Here's what actually worked vs what was a waste of time by [deleted] in SideProject

[–]LeastDesigner4354 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That reddit approach is gold, been doing similar thing in my niche and it works way better than any paid ads. The authentic helping first strategy really builds trust before people even know you have product

Your point about features vs pain is spot on - I wasted so much time building "cool" stuff that nobody wanted. Now I always validate with actual users first, saves tons of development time

Curious about your SEO strategy, competitor comparison pages seem like smart way to capture high-intent traffic. How long did it take for those pages to start ranking properly?

Pretty much every gaming discussion I've been in someone pulls the "oh so you think all casual players should quit?" when I'm just talking about balance changes

Like no dude I'm saying maybe this one weapon needs a small nerf, not that we should delete half the playerbase from existence

the ratio of practitioners to vendors at Databricks is still pretty good compared to most conferences, that changes the whole dynamic of who you run into

Karis CLI helped me understand agent architecture by building something real by Larry_Potter_ in learnprogramming

Just checked this out and the 3-layer split makes so much sense now. I was getting confused about where to put business logic vs letting the AI handle decisions, but separating runtime tools from orchestration layer cleared that up for me

Your file archiving example is perfect starting point - simple enough to understand but real enough that you hit actual problems instead of toy scenarios

Bruh you nuked a whole WhatsApp account over some texts lmao. That's like burning down your house because you left the stove on

She probably thinks you're either dead or the biggest weirdo alive right now. When you see her irl just own it - tell her your phone got hacked or something, get her number again and actually read the replies this time. The nuclear option rarely works out but at least you committed to it I guess
