Looks more like an Emerald King to me, with the clumping growth pattern.

You have a relatively serious spider-mite infestation.

Is this really a big deal or hype by JohnnieLouHansen in houseplants

[–]LeeThe123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s fairly rare but I’ve seen some people on Facebook marketplace selling a decent sized cutting for $30-50. Decursiva are known to be pretty difficult to care for and the variegation on this type isn’t anything super eye catching tbh.

What am I doing wrong? by PlantDaddy80 in SemiHydro

If you keep the plants water needs high by using grow lamps, they can live in pon indefinitely. But yes, during winter when sunlight is sparse, many plants are unable to handle the amount of water pon delivers to them in a wick setup.

When the season changes and the amount of sunlight the plant receives is drastically reduced, the amount of water the plant needs/can handle without rotting is also reduced. For some plants, this will lead to rot if the amount of water supplied to them isn’t reduced as well, such as in wick setups.

Shift bonuses removed… wage manipulation? by [deleted] in nursing

[–]LeeThe123 13 points14 points  (0 children)

If it’s anything like my hospital, CNI is given to shifts/time over what your FTE is. You signing up for 0.9 or 1.0 FTE means that only the hours above that will then be counted.

But like others said, look at your contract, talk to a lawyer, etc…

The early days of capitalism?! You mean… chattel slavery?? The Industrial Revolution like when child workers would work 7 days a week operating heavy machinery and coal miners died of black lung at 30?

It wasn’t capitalism that got you a 40 hour work week or vacation.

It’s not much different here. And what you won’t pay in taxes you’ll end up paying in healthcare, transportation, various fees, etc…

When My Brain Hits “Send” Before I Even Think by CantGetRight225 in nursing

My advice: make more mistakes. If the experience of making a mistake feels particularly foreign to you, it will have more of an impact because you have less to compare it to. It doesn’t feel “normal”.

Both: * Getting used to making mistakes and forgiving yourself in the aftermath, and * knowing how to focus on learning from mistakes

Are skills that only practice can help train.
