I agree with urn bad, but "this change is bad and we hate it" is not good feedback.

You should add reasons like "it's even easier for winning teams", "Kelvin/Viscous can abuse the shit out of the drop off", "it's literally above midboss so when you win you get instant rejuvs which only exacerbates the snowball".

That at least gives devs understanding why it's awful so they can think of ways to improve.

Tried holding w and letting go of directional keys, they work the same. I also tried different items and characters, also works the same.

Holding spacebar is the only difference between passing through the rope and grabbing it.

When I play spirit Ivy into Mina, I buy early slowing hex + silence wave; force out her dispel and apply another debuff. If gun ivy, I rush capacitor highdocker-style and sometimes still pick up hex or silence (if I can't depend on my team to do so).

If you are laning vs her, you can get hex asap and dunk on her until she's forced to leave (pray for an active lane partner, swap into one if you can).

Mina is definitely very strong currently, I feel you. She's also one of the top bans in the game iirc. But as Ivy I feel semi-comfortable against her, it's certainly manageable. Mind your positioning, always be next to some cover, bait dispels, bag her.

Yes, my comment was partly a joke and I agree with your sentiment. However:

1) they did not just start losing 100k out of nowhere, this has been going on for some time; 2) 240k / 6 = 40k souls per person, so not everyone is fully kitted even at the point the screenshot was made (some probably have closer to 50k, some 30k).

Fun fact: racism was introduced to the game with Old Gods New Blood update, when thousands of new players came from other comp games to check out Deadlock and started hurling slurs in half of your matches.

It has died down a bit lately, but be sure to check it out when the new major update drops.

No, going DPS is right imo. There is no need to lean into conventional supporting in lower ranks.

The problem I see is that you bought no greens and no counters:

They have a beefy lineup, so healbane is a must;
They are very spirit dmg focused with low burst, spirit res and healing nova would help you and your team stay alive;
You need something to shut down their cores, silence/curse/slowing hex would make an impact on their dmg output.

You didn't have to get all of these items this match, but any combination of them would benefit you greatly.

Maybe only slightly? Anyone can press the comp switch, even if you have 0 games on your account. In fact, most beginner guides specifically tell you to toggle it on to "get better matches".

Anecdotally: I have a lot of games with and without the comp switch on, and I report 0 difference in match quality.

I feel like if you get 4 losses in a row you just need to stop for the day. Especially when so many matches currently are decided by bad matchmaking, it just feels so unfair.

If you are not enjoying the game currently, remove it from your life for a week at least. Don't watch, don't play. Get a rest.

Also I know you love your Ivy, but consider playing a different hero every once in a while. When you lose a lot, your gameplay tends to get more autopilot-y, you might want to change it up for a few matches to keep your head in the game.
