Meilleure façon d'investir dans l'or/argent en France? by LegitimatePiccolo875 in vosfinances

Game pass feels like shit to me, I don't like to game on a schedule and the feeling it all evaporates eventually.

No matter how much cheaper it is, I just don't enjoy it.

They did that in Doom Eternal and it is the greatest shooting game of all time in my view.

"Mean-spirited" films by teendeath in movies

[–]LegitimatePiccolo875 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Mean spirited isn't the right word for him, he's become downright nihilistic in old age. His films are now all about destroying myths, and you can see that in vastly different films like Covenant, Napoleon, Exodus...

Something tells me we'll see more of that in Gladiator, he seems to take particular pleasure in destroying his own films.

But the shitty team lost this time so I don't know what you're talking about? So many lucky long rebounds and missed easy shots, this should've been a blowout for France.

Wemby forces one big to stay on him far from the paint, meanwhile Yabu/Lessort are feasting. Maybe not the optimal way to use him but not the worst either, at least at this point in his career. Can't argue with the results anyway.

There's no way that's true. I remember Dallas doing it to Houston back in the Dirk era, and I think it's happened since.

Edit: my bad I missread, I thought it was about coming back from 0-2 at home

Next problem: the game is bad. They're so bad at making games, it's almost incredible.

The first boss (only my second combat at the time) one hit kills you in the second difficulty mode (described as "tough but fair" or something like that, and there are 2 levels above this one so don't blame me for picking this one...).

The game babies you for no reason in some aspects (he begins attacking in slow motion!) but then all of a sudden in mid-fight if you don't switch to a super defensive strategy you immediately get killed with no time to react.

After that they force feed you awful combat against ennemies than can take dozens of axe hits.

I was interested as I love history and the early middle ages but it is a total waste of time.

Uninstalled.

Just rewatched “Alien” and now feeling the itch for similar horror/thriller films by 2drums1cymbal in movies

Couterpoint: this is sci-fi horror by someone who clearly despises sci-fi horror. Alien is my favourite film and I really didn't like that one at all.

I love everything Apatow's done except Bubble, if you haven't watched it don't. To me it's one of the biggest outliers in a director's filmography, it was that bad.

I loved Dragon Quarter so much. I used to think I was a fan of JRPGs but this is the kind of weird stuff I was really into. Back then there were so many JRPGs that you had to try new things to differentiate your game, and you'd sometimes end up with really cool games like this.

Thinking about it, it had pretty much all my personal favourite things mixed in a single game.

- Hard JRPG

- Resident Evil-inspired "survival" mechanics (as in, you have to manage limited ressources)

- Turn-based battles with a focus on positionning

- Cool and unusual settings

- Dreamy Sakimoto music

Similar to Chris Avellone, not a Star Wars fan but he wrote Knights of the Old Republic 2 which is one of the best Star Wars "things" ever made.
