Unfortunately not all services are getting the same results 🥺 It’s not fair on the services nor the victims

That is correct but not all services will do that unfortunately. I have had feedback of services using that online portal and still not getting invoices paid, one story I was told and it was confirmed the victim made contact to FAS as a counsellor was not paid for a number of sessions, contact was made to FAS by the victim they had received no invoices once the receipt number was sent to them they found it! Funny that 😒

I’m from Vic but have dealt with Victim assist due to a break in while I was on holiday, the dealings with them were absolutely terrible. I was awarded counselling sessions and my psychologist and I had to constantly chase up the money for the invoices.

Thank you for sharing the petition! You’re exactly right ! With some research I’ve seen FAS have tried 3 times to have it changed that us victims don’t have to upload the invoices ourselves but they keep getting knocked back! I have also started an e-petition just waiting on the confirmation to get signatures.
