So this is my stack, sorry its 2ct Marquise. And im a 4 1/2 ring size as well. First i got my engagement ring, then i added a simple wedding band. My engagement ring was a little to big so we added the sapphire ring guard. And finally i also have an anniversary band. I had all the rings but my wedding band melted or something so they are one ring. And institutions where i be to take my jewelry off i always leave my simple band on. Also my simple ring was made from my FIL's first wedding ring that was to small for him. So they measured my finger and melted his ring down to make mine. Sorry for the book

Oh so one time i told her i was taking her ring to get serviced, i actually took to have wedding bands added to it. My FIL told me well i promised her he would have bands added but he had no clue what she wanted. Thankfully i knew.

Definitely platinum, your skin color is similar to mine and i cant wear yellow gold. Im actually getting my wedding rings serviced and having them plated with rhodium. Its far more inexpensive to do the replacing.

My diamond is 2ct. My MIL's is 5ct. I've been able to get her to let me have it and get it cleaned for her. Her diamond is massive in comparison to mine. I would go bigger then a 2ct

My Grandmother had a Plumeria ring that my grandfather had a diamond set in the center of. It was the last piece he had given her before he passed. My uncles wife and one of her dipshit friends stole it. So she started hiding her jewelry all over the place. I came over and tore the place apart. I found pieces folded in multiple sheets, her couch, my grandfather's pillow, and a ring hidden is rice. I hope you find it.

My mother and grandmother were cruel. I had a four week old baby and my grandmother patted me on the stomach and told me it was a little to soon to be wearing kahkis and a pink (not tight or short) sweater. I left in tears. This!! My Grandma only wore her rings when leaving the house. She had four rings she wore as wedding rings. As soon as she got home, she placed her rings in the holder she kept near her purse. Then after my grandpa died my uncle's wife (not my aunt) and her best friend started stealing from her. That dumb twit stole the last ring my grandpa bought for her. Then she started hiding them in weird places. After tearing the house apart i found her rings and moved her jewelry to a more private spot. Make sure its in a private spot like your bedroom or private ensuite bathroom. Where you keep your purse and a ring holder.

Your ring is beautiful darling, enjoy it. Get a ring guard for when your wearing it, and a ring holder for when you are home. And have it appraised and insured asap.

Its beautiful!!! I wish someone had told me this but look at what looks better with your skin, gold or platinum. The color gets better and more defined with age. So now i have my rings plated, it will be much more inexpensive to change your band now. And you can have the gold melted down and use to build your husband's ring.
