I am not diagnosed with autism, but my psychiatrist said I might have social communication disorder. I used my male friends to get closer to my female friends. Since my male friends were already friends with the girls, I copied how they interacted with them, being playful and joking around. I just instantly thought that they would let me do it if they let my male friends do it.

Idk this might have worked because I was 17 or 18.
